in IDW, Galvatron has been a separate character since the "-tion" era.
I have to say it's a pretty brilliant decision. It allowed for character development of pretty much the same character into two different directions: Megatron is seeking... well, not redemption, but at least a state of affairs where people believe he seriously wishes he had done things differently, while Galvatron is still the exact same brutal asshole he has been for at least ten million years. Which is very fine. "I don't give a fuck because why should I"-type villains are too scarce in my book.

I'm pleasantly surprised with Till All Are One #1. I thought it was going to be shit, and while it certainly has potential to go to shit really soon, the first issue was solid.
