So the way this series originally ended
Was that Steve actually kills Marvel right as this is all going perfect, and learns the final design as Marvel dies, and sits upon the Throne atoning for killing him until the end of days.
Which is part of the reason his face is on the previous issue.
Both A and X got cut in half page wise and turned in what happens here.
He is talking about our world.

Earth X is a visionary comic IMO. It stand alone. But the stuff that follows is pretty interesting as well, if a bit unnecessary. Not unlike 2001 in that regard.
I personally dig it cause it just keeps widening the scope and incorporating more and more characters and concepts.

That ending wouldn't be bad. Neither is this ending for the matter.
I always heard Universe X and Paradise X were n't as great as Earth X, but reading them back to back here its not really bad. Maybe it needs a few minor polishing but it's a pretty cool attempt at tying everything in the Marvel U together.
The only issue I can see is that not EVERY hero ever got its due, but damn did they try their best to include EVERYONE.
