The point they were making when they created Kylo Ren's character was, that he is an evil dark side villain who doesn't really look like one. Usually, Sith are being portrayed as monsters, zombie-like creatures or cyborgs, but Kylo Ren looks like a normal guy. That's because Abrams and Kasdan wanted to show the audience that the dark side can also have a human shape.
If they gave Kylo "Sith eyes" it wouldn't convey that point because everyone would just assume that his "real form" would be that of a monster. Not every villain has to look like General Grievous.

Nothing happened because of the actual characters involved in the story. If it's any consolation, the prices are all over, some are 7€ (yoda), some are 9€ (Kanan, Ezra, Obi) some are 12€ (Zeb and Obi with a glowing lightsaber if used in-game I guess). Qui Gon gets killed early and its up to Obi Wan to complete their mission, he finds Anakin fight Maul but doesnt kill him. Also, Anakin is 15 when we first meet him. Owen is also there, as his truly biological brother, they both go to Coruscant to meet the Jedi, but Owen decides to go back to tatooine after crazy stuff happens and Anakin goes into Jedi training.
Show that regular soldiers of the Republic wear the stormtrooper uniform.

They attack Coruscant and its up to the Republic and the Jedi to fight together against this threat, Maul gets killed by the Jedi and this forces the separatists forces to retreat for now. Begun the Clone wars have.

So resembling the tactics done by Hittler, Palpatine promises to finally bring peace to the galaxy, by reuniting the separatist and republic forces, the catch is that the Jedi must no longer be accepted in the Republic, and they should be hunted down, throughout the years the Republic has lost faith in the Jedi, and the desperation for peace allows them to turn on their guardians of peace. Anakin joins Palpatine in this decision and reveals to be the Sith. He has Anakin and Dooku fight to the death to prove who is the better apprentice and Anakin unleashes his rage to kill Dooku, he then turns to Darth Vader and hunts down the Jedi alongside the Republic army.
So instead of an Order 66 we get a sequence of Anakin hunting down and killing every Jedi.
Padme has Anakin's children and goes into hiding, she gives Luke to Obi wan before Anakin shows up and kills her. He never knows Leia existed.
Anakin then goes to hunt Obi wan and demands he give him Luke, they start fighting and cause something to get destroyed and Anakin believes he caused his own son's death. This sends him into a frenzy and in the rage Obi wan manages to get the upper hand and cuts him down.
Obi wan finds Luke's hiding spot and flees to tatooine. Anakin gets the Darth Vader suit. The Republic becomes the empire
