1. Blade was literally not marketed as a comic book movie and a ton of shit in those movies isn't even from the comics
2. X-men did well but not mindblowingly well and was still embarrased of its roots given everyone was in civilian clothes till the end where they're wearing interchangable black leather outfits
3. It was Spider-man 1 that broke open capeshit as it was the first post-9/11 blockbuster, it raped previous records, featured comic book characters in colorful faithful outfits for the first time since the Batman movies
4.Spider-man's rights were constantly being fought over, so even with X-men or Blade's success, it's not like Spider-man wasn't being attempted to be made for decades before Sam Raimi finally made it happen with Sony

Something can still be the worst MCU movie and still completely fine. I mean I like it because the first half is a monster movie, you spend more time with its villain than any other MCU movie, and it ultimately has a sad ending where Banner fails in every attempt to 'fix' the Hulk but that actually ends up benefiting him because he learns to accept and control the Hulk.
I dunno, it worked for me. The Cap set up was neat too. TIH is the best movie on that list and my main point is it doesn't exactly deserve to be on there as evidence that Feige produces shit movies.

We can do opinions on this all day, but I strongly disagree and I've always felt the Thor movies get unfairly shit on for being on par with most of the MCU. And while Iron Man 2 is a bloated mess, it does have some very entertaining parts. There is nothing about IH I'd call entertaining. Abomination is a joke of a character, there's nothing to him. The movie retreads what Ang Lee did but with more action. Most of the cast feels like they don't even want to be there. Even the Hulk design looks like some giant surfer. There's pretty much nothing I found redeeming about it, short of where Hulk screams at the lightning which felt very classic movie monster.
But that's about it.
