I watched https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x2TzBgFx3mo&ab_channel=TexTalks just now. It was pretty decent, although not as novel as the previous video, and flirted with BYB territory a few times. Tex makes a deal about willpower and a possible overlap between the aspects, and whether this should bother people or not, which I think was wrongfooted:
- First, I don't see much of a basis for why this would bother anyone, especially given that all the different Heroic titles converge according to canon.
- Second, willpower fits much more neatly with the Class system than the aspect. The differing classes consistently have differing internal resolves and ways of influence or outright controlling others versus being influenced and controlled, while the same cannot be said for the aspects.
That said, it was a good watch overall, remaining sane and coherent throughout. The scale of activity he proposed towards the end of the video was good but ignorant of some established data on the hierarchy. Here is an image addressing this point.

For a start, the frog temple. I too forgot that only the kids meteors were duplicated by the Scratch - it was only by rewatching the Gold Pilot flash that I remember Jane makign GCat in their frog temple. Now this is the real plot hole. How did the frog temple get to Earth post-retcon? Pre-retcon Jade could have FG'd it towards Skaia and let it make a portal, but post-retcon non of the assembled Heroes had that ability. That Frog Temple is vital for the Liv Tyler loop and in turn Bec Noir, so it's a big deal that this is unaddressed. Issues such as whenever Jake put the weapons into the capsule are pretty irrelevant next to this, although how and when Jake recieved the weapons is more pertinent.

This is what I don't get. Slick originally "died" in Cascade to blow up the Green Sun. This didn't change with the retcons and still happened. Hussie makes him a robot and he starts traveling to the Game Over session, but he never actually makes it there before it gets retconned. All that's changing is the session Slick is travelling to, not Slick himself.
The retcon didn't erase the entire comic. There's still stuff left for John to change, after all, and none of it contradicts Slick's story.

The best I can figure is that John's retcons are a somewhat localized phenomena, and a vaguely linear progression includes the post and pre-retcon events from an outside perspective.

- Jade intercepts the meteor and teleports the heroes to LoMaX
