It's about four kids on a vaguely post apocalyptic Earth who all play this new game Sburb but Sburb is a video game IN REAL LIFE and its mechanics AFFECT REAL LIFE and if you win YOU GET TO MAKE A NEW UNIVERSE
So these four faggot kids play this game but then the retarded Dog Girl fucks up the prototyping mechanic and creates this thing called Bec Noir which starts murdering EVERYONE
Now we're introduced to literal tumblr characters called trolls, they seem important at first but they're really just shipping fodder and Mary Sues respectively
These trolls played a game but had their shit fucked up by Lord English and they spend 2000 fucking panels being FUCKING ANNOYING and killing each other
Anyways everyone in Homestuck is more concerned about gay poly relationships than winning the game so this guy Doc Scratch tricks them all into summoning this super bad dude LORD ENGLISH who has ALREADY WON and LORD ENGLISH fucks EVERYONE'S SHIT up, so the kids puss out LIKE LITTLE BITCHES and "scratch" their session, making the NEW kids their old parents
Then they all just kind of fuck around for a while, get fucked up by Proto Lord English except for John who survives and renders all the POINTLESS TROLL FUCKERY even MORE POINTLESS, and then, somehow, in a seven minute Newgrounds Flash, they beat Lord English despite Lord English being omnipotent and omnipresent

Yeah, that's his whole stick with the coins. Hussie explained on his blog sometime after we saw Quarters gun down Slick. The powers reflect synergies within the Felt's abilities as well as funny puns:
- Itchy's superspeed is always causing fires. This is useful for summoning Matchsticks, to both help in a fight and put out conflagrations.
- Doze and Eggs are good distractions. An eggtimer-cloned horde of Dozes would be immovably-difficult to deal with. Plus Doze-n Eggs.
- Trace can get into Biscuit's oven and wait while Biscuits guards the piece, helped by Trace from the future once he gets out the oven. The two of them have killer underbites.
- Clover's protective luck means he can flip his coin and always get Quarter's side up. Clover can easily get into position with his small size, figdety moves and luck, and then Quarters can blast foes away. Clover can also dance up in enemies's grills in a fight and distract them, then Quarters can fire into the throng safe knowing that Clover can't be hit.
- Cans can knock enemies into various points in the future, then Fin can track them down and finish them of from a position of safety. Both are pretty nasty customers.
- Die can scout timelines specifically for death with his doll, and Stitch can put the information to use to repair mannequins. Both are handy with a pin.
- Crowbar is the field leader of the Felt, and can do with a bodyguard, ala Sawbuck. Sawbuck can take Crowbar anywhere, and then Crowbar can reel in any carnage he finds. The most handsome and ugly Felt member provide a nice contrast.
More than you ever wanted to know about the Felt. Not that this was ever put to use.

This is the 4th or 5th time I've re-read the whole thing. While it does feel shorter than the first time, knowing what happens to most of the characters makes it seem like it's pointless.

Everything is good up until the final Jade Log.
Even Terezy Remember was a great flash and some of the trick they pulled with the retcon were fun as fuck.
the last Jade log seemed to hide that even those lost in the retcon weren't completely lost, but then Hussie failed to deliver.
Final flashes had those thing when it managed to tie up everything together and give a lot of sense to thing we didn't fully understand, making reveal that were hinted for long, but the [S]Act 7 flash didn't.
It feel like a conclusion done before wrapping things up, as if there was a good chunk of sotry missing between Collide [S]Act 7.
It's the first big flash where hussie fail to deliver and it blow that it's the last one too.

I disagree, I think Act 6 was when Homestuck went from KIDS AND FUN (A1-4) KIDS AND FUN and drama (A5) to KIDS AND DRAMA (A6). The alpha kids were introduced and established around the fact that there was going to be a bunch of relationship drama, and that defined almost their entire session.
