I'd recommend you start at the beginning of Brand New Day, which was around 250 issues ago, and read from there, but I guess that is a lot to ask
Slott's best work is in that run though, New Ways to Die is probably one of my favorite Spider-arcs

Slott was universally seen as good when he was fresh on the book ("Big Time"), although once Superior started, people started looking on it less favorably.
Superior was VERY controversial, but overall, I started really liking it at #9 (I think because I was finally starting to pick up on what Slott was getting at with the story, and my suspicions were ultimately confirmed in #30).
Post-Superior ASM is kind of considered the weak link here, because Peter is portrayed as being kind of a fuck-up when he really needs to not-be (plus it was kind of filler meant to tide people over until Spider-Verse, then again until Secret Wars). Plus a lot of people really hate Spider-Verse.
Overall, I'm liking this new run, but I've been hoping like fuck that Peter's newfound good fortune doesn't end in it all crashing down around him, at least not yet. And with the reveal of Scorpio, I'm betting it's happening pretty soon, unfortunately.
