There was supposed to be a scene earlier in the movie where Leia talks to the senate, which is where we first see the people on Hosnian Prime. I don't think it would've made a huge difference, but at least if the scene was still there we'd at least get some sense of who these people are and why we should care. As it is, the movie gives us a closeup shot of them and then closes in on Korr Sella as if we're supposed to know or care who she is. It would've at least made more sense if the movie had established who they are.
Regarding the part where everyone rushes out to watch the system get blown up in the sky, we didn't even need that. We could just have everyone in the bar quiet down as a news alert is issued on someone's communicator and someone brings up a holo-map of the system. Something like that.

Show them all be part of the New Republic? New audiences probably don't know how important Hosnian Prime if they don't read up into the lore. I think more deaths would make people feel sorry for the civilizations. But in regards to importance, I wouldn't know how to address that. That would probably be the weakpoint. If there were 2-3 scenes of diff. advanced civilizations being destroyed, it would probably add more tension. Not too edgy, but as the starkiller base fires, more aliens try to escape but get caught in the blast.

Funny thing is some of the early rumors suggested just that. This is back when we weren't sure there was even going to be a New Republic and talk was that everything was going to be feudal. Maz has a castle, the First Order has a castle. Hell, even Luke probably had a castle. Then both sides were supposed to have super weapons, the FO had the Slingshot, Leia had the Sledgehammer.
Anyway Poe was supposed to be told that he was among the last survivors of their X-Wings or some shit. I don't even know how true that is since the earliest versions of Poe I'm aware of called for him to die on Jakku.

I always thought rank pauldrons was just a sandtrooper thing, just like snowtroopers used Imperial officer rank squares.
Regular urban combat stormtroopers didn't seem to have any visible rank indicator at all. Even the guy whom Vader referred to as 'commander' in the Tantive IV looks like any other regular trooper.
After the prequels, I got the impression that, compared to the Republic, the Empire was in general all about stark uniformity.

A New Hope at times is a lethargic crawl and RotJ is dragged down a bit by the Ewoks, even though I have no personal issue with them. Phantom Menace is fun if incoherent at times, Attack of the Clones is intriguing, Revenge of the Sith is a satisfying tragic conclusion even if the tragedy could have used a somewhat stronger buildup. Empire Strikes Back is pretty much perfect.

I'll summarize it for you real quick.The Phantom in hyperspace, Chopper piloting. Ahsoka is talking to Rex via hologram. Rex ends with "May the Force be with you" and hangs up. Ezra wonders why Rex is worried, Kanan explains that Malachor has always been off limits to Jedi. Ezra wonders why, if the planet is off limits, Yoda told them to go there. They come out of hyperspace, and there's the planet. Kanan guesses there's something they can gain there to beat the Inquisitors. "Knowledge" says Ahsoka. Sort of a matter of perspective. It's technically early Wednesday morning, but to a lot of people the late hours are still lumped in with "Tuesday night" even though it stops being Tuesday after midnight.
That season finale premiere was pretty sweet. Saw lots of Rebels cast including Clancy Brown sitting a few rows behind me and Sabine and Hera's VAs in front.
There was a Q&A afterwards with Filoni, Kinberg, Ashley Eckstien and Taylor Gray, but they didn't get through many questions.
Filoni said that he imagined the new inquisitor as being a Terrelian Jango Jumper but didn't 100% confirm that's the official species. He put the crossguard lightsaber in the episode as a tribute to everyone that worked on TFA. Spent 5 minutes dancing around a question asking if Thrawn will be in Rebels. That's about it because Filoni gave like 5 minute answers to each question.
And then they gave us these lithographs at the end.

I liked the idea a few people had before we learned more about the FO in the pre-release months, where they decide to start using guerilla and insurgent tactics rather than open uniformed fascism. Imperials are re-gathering around Snoke and making pushes in outer rim and with some type of super weapon.
Snoke is trying to hunt down force sensitives.
Kylo did attack Luke's temple but Luke stopped him. Luke did then go into hiding with his pupils.
The rest of the plot is the same pretty much, except with even more motivation for Rey to find Luke.

Pretty much. The only countries that still do that kind of pageantry are either allies of ours or aren't direct threats. Around the time of the movie's release, there were articles wondering if that kind of image would hurt the movie internationally, since in a lot of countries the US is seen as the big bad imperialist bully. Apparently it didn't really hurt the movie internationally, though it didn't matter much since the countries that see the US that way weren't major markets to begin with.
But yeah, having an ISIS-style group rising out of the ashes of the fallen Empire would've been a much better idea.

Yes, new episodes are streamed as soon as myself or the other streamer gets a hold of it.
This can be as the episode airs, or early if it leaks (which it has been doing for the past half season) so it is hard to say exactly when the episode will be streamed.
But usually, even if it leaks early, it'll be streamed a second time, at the regular airing time, right before Rebels Recon is uploaded to Youtube, so as long as you're around at the regular airing time for the show, you'll probably be in time for the stream.

That's very true. A lot of the Blu Ray changes were actually just removing old controversial changes. For example, Han shooting first; in the Blu Ray, they shoot at near enough the same time, as George "always intended" apparently. And Luke no longer screams when falling on Bespin.
Most of the Blu Ray changes were purely visual updates to bring the movies to modern screens, for better or worse.
I don't mind most of the changes at all, but I know some people go into blind rage at the mention of the changes, so...

Hell, as grim as the situation is in TFA, things are still far better for the galaxy at large and less painful for the Skywalker-Solo clan than the EU got towards the end.
Between all the super-weapons and Vong war, the Galaxy took quite a lot of events like the destruction of the New Republic on the chin, including what was the destruction of Coruscant in all but actual exploding, even if it was sort of handwaved later.
Han and Leia lost a son, their other son went all Kylo and was killed by his sister, who married the Imperial ruler. Chewie had a moon dropped on him before any of this, starting the breaking of Han. Luke and Mara had to keep little Ben hidden away and only saw him occasionally as he grew up, and then Mara died, leaving Luke a widower. To top it all, everything he creates is utterly destroyed within a few generations of his death, and a small group of PT Jedi survived the original purge, come out and reform the Order again. It was terrible. I really disliked everything after the death of Chewie. It felt like Star Wars trying to be Warhammer 40k.

Get blueprints, even by upgrading stuff you don't plan on using.
And do you daily assault missions. This will be better for you, than story missions.
So in order of importance, Cartel Mission, then your Assaults, THEN do a Story mission if you can, and then repeatables if you want to keep playing.
Don't waste Chromium on the Crane unless you have a lot to spare. Focus on upgrading your materials storage until that is maxed. Thank me later on that.
