Another interesting one, simply for the fact that seeing Nora without Ren is kinda damn hard to see but okeedokee lets see:
-Endurance testing - Jaune and Nora seem to exhibit a level of stamina (not necessarily continuous speed or agility) that the others lack. Could be a nice idea to see how many orgasms they could subject each other to before passing out.
-Electrical communication - Now we know Nora's semblance, I could see her controlling it to low level shocks to stimulate the muscles and erogenous zones. Both for self pleasure and for keeping Jaune "at attention". If one wanted to write into BDSM territory, this would also be a fun spot to let Nora's wild side out with zapping Jaune's other sword teasingly until he demanded sweet release.
the Sweetest thing - Some more syrup play, but Jaune introduces Nora to sweets that his family grew up with. -Sad Snuggles - This one wouldn't be smut per se, just a lot of cuddling/comforting, like when she visits the ruins of hers and ren's village. Jaune has to comfort her after the visit. Lots of hugging and stroking of hair and plenty of her favorite pancakes. Jaune has to pull on all of his experience calming down his sisters to work here.

Different reasons. The most common is that it goes against the big ships that involve either Jaune or Ruby namely White Rose and formerly Arkos. This is the most common reason I've seen and it's just shippers being shippers.
The 2nd most common one I've seen is that people like seeing them as friends and just want them to stay friends since it's "icky" if they get romantic. They're comfortable enough with each other but without the sexual tension that it seems weird for them to become romantic. I kinda empathize with this one since their dynamic is similar to how me and my sister act. It's somehow more icky for me than fucking Enabler which is real incest.
The 3rd most common I've seen is that people just don't like romance since it gets in the way. I can also agree with this because romance bogged down both Jaune and Pyrrha with how they handled it. Now that they've been freed, Jaune can develop in a more interesting way. I'm actually legit interested in how he develops from now on compared to his bullshit at the dance arc. Lancaster happening would mean more of that love stuff and chances are, it's going to be handled badly.
The other reasons I've seen is that because it's making Ruby end up with the 1st guy her age (who is also prominent in the show) that she saw, "forcing" the 2 main leaders together, making the audience surrogate end up with the MC or that Miles is literally writing his character to end up with the main character.

I like that they're similar in how they're both trying to become the person they wish to become while having to deal with a family that doesn't support what they're doing. Jaune went after Weiss at the start but I always found it weird that they never brought up their similar goals which would explain why Jaune could empathize with her. "Hey, you're going through something similar to me so I want to get closer to you." Feels like a better reason than "he overheard her ironically praising him."
Weiss also seemed to become the "caring" member of the group when it comes to friends. Blake deals with her own issues in her own way, Yang is wallowing in Yangst, Ruby cares but is more focused on her mission. Weiss on the other hand feels like she wants to prioritize her friends more than her own and being unable to would be a big thing for her. Considering her last moments were going with Ruby to keep her safe and risking her life to save Velvet.

Personally, I do hope to see more interactions between Weiss and Jaune in the future. After seeing indications in V3 that they've become something at least resembling friends following the absolutely frosty disposition she had towards him in V1 and 2, I'd quite like to see further developments there.

Ok these two are a bit tricky. Their age and relative disparate experience means you got a big of a big sister/little sister thing going on here, but, well, smut instead. Most of the more believeable smut would probably fall under very aggressive cuddling or heavy 2nd base action rather than outright sex but it could work.
-Experimentation - Basically blake showing all the naughty things she's learned both through ninjas of love and the nicer times with Adam. Could potentially be awkward if those reminders of Adam lead to the bad memories of it mid coitus.

You've got the classic dom/sub motif here. The obvious Dom is Weiss but you can play around with that and have Ruby be the Dominating one fulfilling an inner fantasy of Weiss to relegate the control she so demands every day, but, once again, Ruby's relative age and inexperience would probably not work here without time-skipping them several years older/wiser.
Stress Relief/Self Discovery - I think for smut to work between them it should play on their relative young age and the sheer taboo their relationship and discovering it would place upon them. Weiss for "deigning" to give in to her base desires and Ruby for just figuring this all out. I could see a lot of secretive late night visits to each others beds for awkward/aggressive scissoring/cuddling as they explore each other.
One Step Further - Ok they've gotten past the discovery stage, like any discovery they start running with it and kinda go nuts with it. Potentially kinky/humorous ideas here. Damn that is a tough one. Ok well lets look at what both of them have in common. Both have a big focus on physical fitness and acrobatics. Sun is more of a street scrapper and Pyrrha's more of an arena brawler but far more graceful, they rely on their agility and mobility for doing their fighting rather than straight brute strength so we can translate that possibly to their physical attraction. They also are very intelligent in their own way. Sun is street smart, Pyrrha is more regal/PR Smart if you know what i mean. Their conversations would probably be very interesting I'd imagine, lots of talk about working out, which I'd imagine is what would join them together.
Fitness pals - Helping each other work out at the Gym, calisthenics, yoga, stretching exercises to stay limber and flexible and Pyrrha's bod in yoga/workout pants? Yes please! Probably ogling first kiss kind of stuff here, maybe some touchy-squeezy first base action at best since a gym in beacon would be busy.
Relaxation and Rejuvenation - Post workout massage session turning into something more? Lots of sensual scenes here, Sun probably intimidated by Pyrrha's figure and strength with her hands, which would lead to other things, mostly involving massage oil and a private room...

Scouting - Her pulling a "transfer student" into Beacon and following him around campus. "running into him" awkwardly forcing him to cop a feel on her body and flustering the hell out of him as a result. Redemption angle would be more of her following him and trying to work up the courage to figure out a good time to approach him and communicate with him somehow.
Make the Move - Again depending on the angle, this can go one of two ways. Aggressive would be her openly cuddling against him in class in full view of everyone, giving Jaune treats and cookies culminating in Jaune's first kiss (much to suffer Pyrrha). Redemption would require probably Jaune finding out abit more about Neo's past either by her or elsewhere (wanted posters) and him comforting her after her confession and offering his first kiss to her instead.
Aftermath - Progression of before, Aggressive would have Neo have her stringing Jaune along with progressively more lewd acts in exchange for wrapping him around her pinky finger for some potential purpose much to everyone's worry. Ok, so like Sun and Blake, you can't ignore the grimm elephant in the room that both of them being faunus is going to play a factor in the relationship. They're going to be looking out for each other, trying to protect each other in their own way.
Feelers - This you'll need to set things up. Chats in the cafeteria, classes together, sparring practice and whatnot. Sun trying to make Velvet break out of her timid shell and Velvet trying to find out more about Sun's vagabond lifestyle he leads. At most, holding hands and a quick hug at this stage.
Hotblooded - Conflict will come early for these two. Sun as we've seen is pretty hot-tempered and quick to jump into action. Will probably not tolerate Cardin being a racist dickwad to Velvet in front of him, possibly getting into a fight only stopping when Velvet convinces them to stop, enduring the insults along the way. Confrontation and Velvet confessing she has feelings for a rather stunned Sun (Gets it < Doesn't Get It). Probably end on another hug moment.
Primate Ponderings - As an immediate result of the previous conflict, they stick closer together but still have rather heated arguments about how answer faunus ridicule. Velvet constantly trying to "cool" sun down and Sun trying to get Velvet to have a spine. Culminates in their first kiss when they realize how much they worry about each other.
Jungle Fever - Now the confession is out of the way, the experimentation can begin. A fun way to handle this, is that have Sun be a complete Neophyte with sexual related stuff and have Velvet be the scholar with all the time she's spent in the library. Feelings will cost you - Ok so after a long time they start to develop small but forceful feelings for each other. Obviously they don't want the great sex to stop, but also the idea of "what happens after all this" is probably coming into play here. Will they be doing this all their lives? kinda dangerous really, what if we didn't have to do this anymore? lots of late night planning/talks/more passionate exploratory sex here as they realise the possibility of leaving this all behind is not just a complete pipe dream after all.

Yeah I'm kinda surprised there's so little of it. I guess due to the popularity of Arkos taking a lot of winds out of the sails is the reason really.
Ice queen - Relationship starts out like we've seen it in the show. Weiss is being...well, Weiss. Cold, overbearing, holier-than-thou and proud of it. Still, like Coco described earlier, she can't help but feel a twinge of attraction to Jaune's bumbling yet earnest attempts to get her to notice him. Probably nothing more than chatting at lunch together at this point.
Iced Tea - Ok things are warming up. After deciding to be a bit less standoffish, she finds Jaune is at least friendly, earnest and loves to tell funny stories, things she's never enjoyed as a child. Lets her vent about Ruby and offers his perspective which she mostly ignores, but appreciates nonetheless. Long courtship during this part. Probably first kiss here?
Wandering Ice - Ok some conflict here. So they've had their first kiss, but they're both idiots when it comes to relationships. Neither has really had one but for different reasons and commence the awkward dating scenes, trying to figure out what each other likes. Depending on the endgame, the relationship can fall apart here or continue with lots of hand holding quick pecks on the cheek, and plenty of post dinner cuddling and kissing.
Ice is set - Here they finally sort of "figure each other out" Weiss either has to come to terms with Jaune's difference in intelligence relative to her (his idiot savant notwithstanding) and decide if she's comfortable with that, and Jaune will be fretting if he's "good enough" for Weiss Schnee, especially if Winter pays a visit and sees what exactly he's getting into with the Schnee Family. Probably the real smut starts here, starting with vanilla, and potential dom/sub play similar to White Rose may come into play here as Weiss lets her kinky side out a bit more and Jaune is mainly going along with it.

Melting Ice - You're pretty much going to have to work in a "meet the parents" scene with Weiss here. Her interactions with her Father are a big portion of her character and throwing Jaune into the mix with Papa Schnee and (for humor purposes) a suddenly horny winter could make for some fun and hilarious scenes. Expect more straight yet VERY intense sex here as Weiss drains her frustrations with her family through d'arc's ministrations.
Snowcastle - Long term look here. Technically if you're doing smut you could stop up there, but if you want to take it further, the smut develops and serves as primarily a stress relief for weiss. Depending on how happy you want to make the smut, you can either make it that weiss genuinely cares for jaune and brings him along into her life either be reforming the SDC or disavowing it and making her own way like in the show and him coming along and supporting her as best as he can (and with his family too). For a more depressing take you could have her go back to the SDC to try and take it over herself and Jaune is basically a trophy husband, trying to figure out his place in the world now and basically serving as a sexual toy for Weiss as she works herself like a dog each day. Probably a very depressing write to do I think.
The only thing I've learned from this whole discussion is that everyone in this general either hates fun or loves fun.

Even most Arkos fics before the finale, I found were too bland. To the point whereeven WR had more zest, and those guys just redo the same beats.
This may be because I found Pyrrha and Jaune's relationship to be dull. Like there's no special oomph there. The most fun I've had with Arkos is just Pyrrha uselessly pining for Jaune but you could do the same with Ruby or Velvet or even Yang.
Besides that it all just ends up too sappy. Like the usual relationship wish fulfilliment kind of stuff. Doesn't help that Pyrrha's pretty dull as a character. Yes she had character but it rarely adds anything.
Just me though as that's what I've mainly noticed from Arkos fics.

I've found the best idea is that they work as partners.
As when Pyrrha gets with Jaune, she loses almost all of her character becaus getting with him is her character. Yeah she's still the strong warrior lady but so is everyone else. Their relationship dynamic is the same but the author just adds more lovey dovey stuff.
