I like star wars!

The fuck you just say?
So the Force Awakens Trailer, especially the music, is pretty fantastic.
>>80910532
Which one?
>>80910406
You get the fuck out.
>>80910406
>liking Star Wars
Baby detected

Did we ever find out what tracks they used?

I think it was an original composition

Guess he found the droid he was looking for eh?
>>80910674
Least I'm not a lardass.
>>80910721
>Guess he found the droid he was looking for eh?
Yeah?
You gonna just let that out mang?
Filoni is gonna kill her off, isn't he?
feelsbadman
So finally got around to watching the 2x18 and was pleasantly surprised. Pretty cool episode overall, and it's nice to see another droid pair.
>>80910406
>>80911190
How many droid pair's are there now? We got Threepio and Artoo, Chooper and AP-5, Triple-Zero and Bee Tee, and if you want to go non-canonical, HK and T3.
>>80911010
Don't worry, she survives the season. Spoiler warning:Season 3 is going to shift focus over to following the Inquisitors and seeing the rise of the rebellion from their perspective while they compete to become the new Grand Inquisitor and Vader's favorite.
>>80911552
I... holy shit, I want that now.
>>80911421
Chooper and AP5 are at least the perfect amount of dickish to each other while still maintaining some respect, that's a breath of fresh air. Now they only have to give AP5 some heelys so he can keep up with Chopper.
>>80911298
I wanna take the piss out of the guy but he's drawing more than me and having his edgy fun.
>>80911552Season 4 shows the Seventh Sister capturing Ezra and taking him to her personal sex dungeon.:^)
>>80910406
Star Wars is the best media franchise ever made. I also enjoy it
>>80912067

HEH
Get a load of these fukin nerds guys
So in current canon who is the most powerful force user Sheev? or are we supposed to assume Snoke is more powerful without seeing dick of what he can do.
>>80913000
I assume Luke?
>>80913049
You think? I mean he is powerful but he still couldn't stop his edgy nephew and his friends from killing literally everyone he was supposed to protect.
>we will never get the adventures of Loli Hera and Shota Jedi Kanan
>>80913000
Sheev, Snoke hasn't shown anything of power yet.

>>80913773
Post more Grievous please
>>80913832
How about concept art?
>>80913812
He's good if you like that sort of character, but best SW character?
C'mon.Not while Hondo exists.
>>80913689
Agreed.
>>80913832
>>80913832
>>80913963
Grievous is hot.
>>80913967
I really want more fanart of Grievous wearing fancy hats
>>80913989

Grievous still has my favorite reaction gif of all time.
>>80913832
all this grevious will bring script anon back in no time.
>>80914175
>Hey anon, I'm going to kill your waifu and there is nothing you can do about it.
>>80913689
> pierces a helmet going for blood, just cause
aww yeah, that's what I like to see, my favourite character in his element

>>80914315
>>80914315

>>80914354
It won't matter anon. He will create a new one and then he will rip your heart out again by taking her away from you.
>There is no mercy
>>80910351
Zillo beast did nothing wrong
I like to imagine Grievous somehow survived through some fluke occurrence.
Filoni wouldn't dare, w-would he?
>>80914721
The one Obi-Wan killed was actually a droid copy programmed to think and act like the real Grievous, complete with synthetic eyes and organ jar for maximum realism.
The real Grievous was still on Coruscant, since his escape pod actually crash landed.
>>80914062
Best voice by Genndy
All other voices is worst voice
>>80914721
I almost want to ask you whether you got a shrine of him, Grievousanon.
>>80914873
You're just hurting yourself anon.
>>80914873
I'd like to find her cute but it somehow just looks to wrong/uncanny for me.
Wait a minute... all this Grievous love... could it be that Script Anon is among us once more?
>>80914889
I'll go with that.
>>80914903
Nope. That'd be too much effort.
We needed more competent, merciful Seperatist super-patriots. Trench was the closest minus the merciful patriot part.
>>80914873
OH LOOK A PICTURE OF LITTLE SOKA
GUESS I HAVE TO POST THIS NOW
>>80914945
I think there's at least three of us, I'm >>80914903 but I'm not Scriptanon.
>>80914721
Sure, if Maul can survive being sliced in half, why not?
>>80914889
Also, the Dooku that got his head scissored wasn't the real Dooku, it was just a fake Dooku created by the Force. This was an actual thing in the EU.http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Doppelg%C3%A4nger_of_Dooku
>>80914945
Well, I'm not him and I've posted most of the latter half of the Grievous pics in the thread.
>>80913249
>AHAHAHAHAHA
Settle down. It's not unlikely.
>>80915013
Exactly. If Maul could live, Grievous surviving isn't nearly as out there.
>>80915035
>he thinks Luke as he has currently been portrayed is anywhere near Sheev
Hopefully all this Grievous art isn't annoying anyone.
>>80915013
Maul had The Force to keep him alive via the Dark Side.
Grievous didn't. Grievous had all of his (few) remaining organs and tissue fried.
>>80915174
not at all keep it coming
>>80914916
>The fear of loss is a path to the Dark Side.
>>80915192
Grievous might also have robot parts that could have failsafes for certain situations. Surely some cyborg competent he has would help him survive something like that.
>>80915021
> the doppelgänger was not a clone, but was created using the Force, believing that clones have been overused as an explanation for inconsistent deaths
oh lord I'm laughing
>>80915174
Fill my folder bro
>>80915265
Grievous had replacement arms, legs, face masks, armor plates, etc, but there's no evidence he had any kind of failsafes or those even exist. Remember, Grievous normally had his organs covered and Obi-Wan was only able to shoot them because he pried open the armor
>>80915306
Yeah, the logic of "clone is dumb and overused, I'll say it was a FORCE CLONE" is just so delightfully stupid.
>>80915265
Not sure what any failsafes would be able to do after he's had his only organic parts burned up.
>>80915306
>Fill my folder bro
I have 145 images. What's your current count?
>>80915345
Bah, I'm sure he has a contingency for when something gets through his plating to his organs. Or, like, it was a body double.
>>80915397
They could do "something".
>>80915265https://www.fanfiction.net/s/10743786/1/Sticks-and-Stoneshttps://www.fanfiction.net/s/11779380/1/Cut-Strings
Be free anon.
>>80915306
That doppelganger thing also highlights one of the problems with the old EU- rather than just say "well that didn't happen, it's just a video game" they had to come up with an explanation, whoever ridiculous, to make it fit. Rather than just say "well this is a square peg, it can't fit into this round hole so we'll just forget it" they still try to bash it in there with a hammer.
>>80914945
>>80914994
We'll find him someday, /swr/, then we will set things right.
>>80915437
>I'm sure he has a contingency for when something gets through his plating to his organs. Or, like, it was a body double.
Oh, so you're in denial. Gotcha.
>>80915139
We haven't seen him do much post-RotJ. I'm saying, given the trajectory of his development, it's not unlikely that he is by the time of The Force Awakens. We don't know either way, but I don't think it's unlikely.
>>80915437Only 30,many which you already got.
>>80915481
>J/aco/
I giggle every time.
>>80915517
Dude, we're judging based on what we can verify. We have no judge of TFA-era Luke's powers right now, so we have to go by what we know from the OT, where Luke was weak af.
>>80915458
I'm following both of those. And Ghost of Hyleea, too.
>>80915489
>Oh, so you're in denial. Gotcha.
Exactly. But I'll continue my belief he's somehow still alive.
>>80915522
Oh, don't have that one yet.
I'm the anon who started the Grievousposting and the guy with the two lego sets.
>>80914721
My personal headcanon is that before he died, his brain was uploaded onto some computer and then into a droid body, as one last laugh against him from Dooku. That droid is Chopper and he's a rebel because he still hates the republic/empire and he continuously pisses off Kanan and Ezra because they're jedi

I also found this during my search for Grievous images. I'm both weirded out and kinda like the sentiment.
>>80915874
>Grievous will never be your dad
>>80916029
I have no idea how that would turn out.
Empatojayos Brand is the reason I'm glad the old EU is gone.
>>80916079
>Dark Empire
Not every work in a series pays off. I could as well say The Great Divide is the reason I'm glad Avatar is gone.
>Grievous is my favorite star wars character
>Captain Ithano is the coolest looking character in TFA
>It turns out he has a Kaleesh helmet
Why are the Kaleesh so good at designing helmets?
>>80916312
I hope Ithano's species doesn't turn out to be near-human.
Wouldn't it have been funny if, because Maul had spent the last decade or so being a crazy person and Obi-wan had since become a master, their first re-encounter had Obi-wan completely stomp Maul.
>>80916418
Yes, that would be humorous. Also, I didn't actually watch the Maul episodes myself, but did it address things like him probably being really out of shape?
>>80916470
No, he was still strong because he was very angry this whole time.
He was just insane.
>>80916470
I'm glad you agree it would have been a laugh. Also, insanity aside, it doesn't seem he spent his decade being all that inactive, and as a side, it's not exactly like he had leg muscles left to atrophy is it?
>>80916312
They search out murderous challenges and collect the skulls of whatever fantastic beast they slay. If they were a rich world I could see them being some analogue to 20th century big game hunters, searching the galaxis for more and more murderous beasts to one up each other in glory and weird masks.
>>80916546
So like, Predator?
>>80915345
This still looks so lewd. Like Obi-Wan reaching into his innards.
>tfw can't watch the new episode because I'm internet retarded and don't know ow to access the link in the pastebin
>>80916504
>>80916508
Ah, okay. When I thought of his insanity, I imagined him simply being in a sort of near-vegetable sort of state.
>>80915845
Thanks mate
>>80916470
Deciide for yourself, does tha tlook out of shape to you? Dude could skip all the leg days.
>>80916594
The fact that clone wars grievous only has 4 fingers on each hand triggers me.
>>80916679
Reminds me of Sangheili.
>>80916679
Apparently shaving 2 fingers off each hand saves buckets of money.
>>80916166
You wouldn't be wrong. But it's kind of a different scenario. Avatar is over, Star Wars is on going. And Luke being palpatine's apprentice is worse than the great divide by a wide margin.
>>80916593
kisscartoon.
>>80916586
see >>80915522
>>80916565
I know Predators have the same glory thing going on, but the mask aspect would be something different and could be more diversely interpreted by a sophisticated society.
A Kaleesh doctor wouldn't have killed something for glory but would allow others to live on, thus conquering death in parts.
>>80916593
Copy paste it into your search bar, amigo
>>80916679
If it makes you feel better, his upgraded model in the Utapau arc looks more like his ROTS model, complete with six fingers
How come these two have not hooked up yet?
>>80916767
Give Avatar 40 years of different writers working on it, and you'll get some stinkers as well. Like with any long-lived franchise, you can discount the bad stuff without devaluing the good. You see it in capeshit, 40k, and Trek all the time.
Reminds me of a monkey in this one.

>Doctor, my friends say you are a coward, that since you wear no mask you have never hunted or killed!
>You cannot behead a virus or engage a bacterium in single combat. A Nexus may tear you limb from limb and an Acklay may flay you alive with its teeth but disease will make you bleed from every orifice, make you bedridden and make you die an ignoble death. In my line of work I keep nature at bay. I ensure that others continue to fight. I am the reason why hunters can claim more than a single trophy in their lifetime. I am a physician, and I hunt death itself!>That doesn't sound very brave.
>Fuck off, kid.
Had a thought.
>>80917041
That sounds really familiar for some reason.
>>80917144
I'm sure doctors being grandiose about their trade is a common trope.
>>80917144
>>80917041Thanks for that anon, you made my morning.

How about a Jedi Temple dating sim?
Or an Imperial dating sim?
Or a shady gloryhole at the Mos Eisely Cantina sim?
>>80917485
You'd only need one base graphic with a shit ton of alterations, just like the clones themselvesunless you go the extra mile and everyone has their own base reflecting their personality in their body language
>>80917550
A cyborg dating sim.
Hm. Running out of Grievous pics to post.
>>80917540

>>80917563
Yeah, there's software for making VNs out there. I guess the artist can get away with drawing the same face. Plus tattoos.
>>80917646
I'm sure other Kaleesh do, too.
I want to thank Grievous anon for their effort. I now have 80 more pics in my hard drive.
>>80917741
You're welcome! It was nice to dump all of this.
Well, I'm tired, so I'm gonna go off to bed. Hope you all enjoyed the multitude of Grievous pictures.
Man when you hear the phrase
>Anakin's teenage girl apprentice who was with him all through the clone wars and yet never showed up in the movies
It sounds so awful and yet somehow it worked.
How'd they do it /swr/?
why did durge never make it into TCW?
>>80918983
Filoni doesn't like Genndy.
>>80918983
He was going to, but they decided to go with Cad Bane instead. In general I think they just figured he didn't fit, since the Separatists already have a bunch of commanders and Dooku didn't need a bounty hunter as part of his army. On top of that, making him just a regular bounty hunter with no direct affiliation with the CIS kind of makes him pointless, and further still there's the fact that the clones aren't meant to have any ties to Mandalorian culture, so a big part of Durge's motivation is thrown out the window.
>>80918188
Lucas is an unsung genius.
>>80918983
Because he's absurdly unrealistic?
>>80919088
As it is Durge kind of fell by the wayside after Grievous was introduced. His being a part of the Separatists never made a lot of sense anyway, he was meant to be a replacement for Jango because someone thought Jango was meant to be a top-level Separatist. I don't think Jango was ever meant to officially join the Separatists even if he had survived, but the EU still decided Dooku needed a bounty hunter as one of his top men, so they came up with both Durge and Cydon Prax.
>>80919293
Didn't they even have a comic where Grievous beats up both Durge and Ventress?
Full length Star Wars movie made by Blur Studio when?
>>80919339
Never.

I love how the fighting in the cinematics isn't just fancy choreographed ballet but looks like they are actually trying to hurt each other with punches and kicks and even shows them missing completely at points. I'm glad the squeals seem to be taking that route
>>80919634
are you being honest here
half those swings would outright miss
>>80915094
Well, Maul had the force, and Greivous doesn't.
>>80919668
True enough but they only have so much time to show action having them completely miss most of that would be boring but the fact that they show that lightsaber fighting is brutal is point that should be taken from them
>>80919634
>>80919731
I reconcile it with the old-school Jedi of the Prequels all being trained duelists with their combat-precog highly refined to a point that duels ARE dances to them. They lack that feel of brutality, because they are using a weapon of energy as an extension of their will. Duels of mind over matter. The duels are just the physical representations of what is happening in the force.
Whereas Luke and Vader was always Luke not having the refined training, and Vader testing him with conventional swordplay. Rey and Kylo is two relatively crude force users compared to the golden age of the Force.
Guess we'll see if I can hold onto this way of reconciling things as the new trilogy goes on. Honestly, I prefer the OT and ST fighting, and by extension the Jedi Knight and early novel portrayals, better. I liked Jedi more when I thought them being Knight Errant were the norm, and less when they basically became space monks who fought like animu samurai.
>>80919731
Stupid as that looks, I always took it as both knowing each other so well they read eachothers next move a half dozen times and are holding back from committing to the next blow.
>>80919864
I want to say that barring the obvious few points, the duel between Anakin and Obi-wan did feel sufficiently like they, or at least Anakin, were/was trying to kill each other/Obi-wan
>>80919731

I'm so tired of morons taking this scene out of context.
I'm going to start making webms of Obi-Wan's spin and Luke spin in ESB

That actually sounds like a pretty good idea.

>>80922995

>one spin around you to increase blade's momentum
They do this a lot in the PT. If you noticed they're using the same moves that were in the OT, just faster.
>countless spinning by both parties which will add nothing
>student vs master
>both expert fencers
>trying to look for weaknesses in each others defense
>using the exact same moves
The scene is taken out of context. They've dueled for quite a while but to a complete stand still. And this only happens once. I don't understand why people gripe about this. There are far more ridiculous moves that happen through the entire trilogy. It was cool scene to see how much they mirror each other.

And nothing wrong with that.
The problem isn't that they use the same move. The problem is that after one, maybe two spins the speed wont increase any more, so it's pointless. And looks rediculous how they just stop in the middle of the room and start spinning.
And the only thing stupider is Grievous's spinning.

My holy trinity, already ordered on eBay.
Can't believe there's still no Hera, Chopper or BB-8 though.
