Have been exploring a roleswap au concept, and wanting to share what I got so far.(If that's okay) Mostly motivated by not being a big fan of Marco with cheekmarks, but still wanted to keep the cardsuits theme. (I recall a variant where he was a candyskeleton who had to worry about getting eaten or something like that. But not sure if it went anywhere.)

This is probably just me but at most I always just tolerated FV's edginess. As of the last few threads it's turned into more deviantart tier autism by the minute. The content is tasteless and uncreative. Even moreso it's just cringeworthy how tryhard and 12 year-old mentality it is.

Don't expect anything amazing or deep, there IS continuity but very light outside a few key episodes.
The show is mostly likeable characters doing stuff, sometimes cute stuff, sometimes silly stuff, its very random but not quite "randumb" like people call shows that are just random for the sake of being random. but there ARE some joke based on that concept. (like the "whats under the carpet" joke)
The show simply is not trying to compete for the title of "best cartoon on air right now", and if you ask me, that's what makes it enjoyable.

Very good stuff HF, I could genuinely see this as the good end to Ludo as a wholethough he's likely to fill in his role again in season 2 at some point.I especially liked that Buff Frog didn't initially hear him out, felt in character after the events of the finale.

As I always said to Write Friend many threads ago, there's no pressure or promises with this stuff. If you have the inspiration and want to share, we're grateful. But if not then that's fine as well; any content is appreciated as a bonus. Perhaps use ideas to spur discussion as that's much less demanding than content creation, especially if your mood dictates a lot of what you can and cannot do.
One of the things I like the most in these threads is the St. O's AU creators rough drafts, scenario generation is interesting in that way.

Yeah I've heard writing can act in such a way, which is good if that's the case; especially considering your stories are of a pretty high quality.
I certainly wouldn't have thought that was the case though, especially having re-read some of themPearls and Redeeming being my favourite, characterization in both is stellar, not just adhering to the show itself, but building off of it too.Now having had you outline that I can certainly see the themes and their place in the stories, make me appreciate your work even more.

Finished the white haired. I'm onto brown haired one, but it may take a while. It's looking like shit at the moment, and partly because it's a jpg file. In fact, right now it look awful because there were so many "dust" and "smoke" particles in the picture that messed up the clothing area. And the skin looks kinda off because the base model is pretty pale. I could try make it look darker, but it may turn out too dark. Any feedback is appreciated.About Star's reaction, I don't watch that series, so my guess it's she would punch him until he gets better, or use her wand to make things worse...

Personally, I often write for catharsis with a theme and scenario already in mind. I usually add and remove the little trivial things from that as I go, depending on what inspires me. As such, it's a nightmare when I'm trying to write something bigger and less personal, as I am now.
I've noticed it's those trivial things that have the biggest effect on readers, a "20% of the effort producing 80% of the final result" kind of thing.
