List of ungifted wishlists and instructions: http://pastebin.com/2R25RyGY
So share your list, join in some holiday story times and above all else be Merry.
Please only post your list once per thread, no begging, and keep it friendly. Remember to say thanks and maybe post a pic if you get lucky.
There are a lot of wishlists that don't have addresses tied to them, without an address no one can purchase something for you and have it sent to you. To update that please open your list, select the "list settings" option in the top right corner, then in the window click "view details" for the list your are sharing then select or add an address under the "shipping address" in the middle if you don't want to share your full name please make a new address and use initials or some nickname.

Morning my cheery /co/mrades! Today you're in for a treat; I was on comixology earlier and saw this gem. The name caught my eye, as we were creating our own Santa Corps a little while back, and it was only a few dollars so I figured what the heck. I hope you enjoy what is sure to be a sleighwreck...

Favorite /co/ related movies to watch during the holidays? My parents bought me El Dorado one Christmas back when I was a kid and it's never failed to give me that seasonal spirit.

>>78265433

I normally watch too many John Hughes movies. But they're not /co/ related.
I always associate The Land Before Time with the holidays because I first saw it after a snowy Christmas Eve when I was a little anon.

Can be removed from the list. So close to being fully gifted.
Today. Today... at the edge of our wishlists, at the end of our bank accounts, we have chosen not only to believe in ourselves, but in each other. Today there is not a man nor woman in here that shall be left ungifted. Not today. Today we face the grinches that are at our door, and bring the christmas spirit to them. Today, we are canceling the giftocalypse!I8ICH61R8ETZ
>>78266200
>Today. Today... at the edge of our wishlists
Not going to lie...my mind went straight to Pullman's speech from Independence Day.
>>78266675
Eh, why not. I don't think I did a good enough job though.
Good morning. In less than an hour, wishlists from here will join others from around the world. And you will be launching the largest Secret Santa in this history of mankind.
Mankind -- that word should have new meaning for all of us today.
We can't be consumed by our petty humbugs anymore.
We will be united in our good /co/ tastes.
Perhaps its fate that today is the 19th of December, and you will once again be gifting for our freedom, not from Krampus, Grinches, or Scrooges -- but from being ungifted.
We're fighting for our right to give, to feel jolly.
And should we win the day, the 19th of December will no longer be known as an American holiday, but as the day when the world declared in one voice:
"We will not go quietly into the night!
We will not vanish without a fight!
We're going to gift on!
We're going to survive!"
Today, we celebrate our Giftpendence Day!
>>78266200
I love that gif so much. My only issue with the movie is the fact that the wall is in the middle of Sydney Harbour, rather than, you know, near the ocean.
>>78266856
I wonder how Tom Cruise would have been as Stacker Pentacost...I mean, damn.
>>78266854
That's pretty good, too bad the President is looking all "Randy Quaid" in the trailer
>>78266856
Pacific Rim is just such a fun movie, you really can't hate it. I accept those kind of mistakes these days. Most people just think of the Sydney Harbour bridge and the Opera House. If they didn't show those people would complain they didn't know it was Sydney
>>78266876
I don't think he would've been fit for that character. I think he would have to be older to play a Leader type character like Pentacost.
>>78266962
I mean, you have a point, but as a "caring for doomed people" sort of way - MI3 and Rogue Nation have a bit of that in their plots...and he pulls it off handily.
Also, speaking of Elba, anyone else think that he would make a WAY better Father Callahan than Roland?
>>78265872
Oddly enough, so do I. Haven't seen the first Land Before Time in years, though. Hopefully it holds up.
Good morning and Joyeux Noel from3P5RFH9G03V0J .ca!
Just to reiterate in the new thread, I've kept a looping stream up of Rare Exports since some people said they missed it, it'll be up throughout the day unless my pc craps out while I'm gone
Also a fresh doubleheader of movies either tonight or tomorrow night, more info to come
hitbox.tv/corbeaunoir
>>78266982
I don't remember much of how Tom Cruise acted in those movies. I can kind of see it how he could work as Stacker Pentacost, but I think it would still come across as a very different character than what Idris Elba played.
I haven't read The Dark Tower. I take it it's a must read. How high on my to read list should it be?

>>78268284
Fucking lol. Hey, he wasn't lying
>>78267601
Definitely, I think that Elba is usually cast toward more stoic characters...which I think does his talent for more playful characters a disservice...but it would have changed heavily.
It's not really a must read. The first three are good, but then the last four are just...they're badly executed good ideas.

I doubt Cross could make another. He hated those movies but loved the money.
>>78276543
I watched the first three with my nephew.
And he was consistently the best thing about them.
In fact, funnily enough, the three are almost enitrely about his single character arc.
>>78276565
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Cross#Alvin_and_the_Chipmunks
Interesting to see him do it. Cross is a funny, but horribly bleak dude.
>>78276614
Nice comments, most of the ire for the third movie was later clarified as his character spends 99% of the movie in a mascot suit...and they actually had HIM in the suit. Not some stunt double.
I think that, despite the quality of plots and budget seemingly being slashed every time, the first three are nominally okay.
But the third one was a "the end"...the fourth is just excessive
>>78275981
