I just don't see how Dipper would want to be with Mabel. She always picks on him, and he's always there cleaning up messes that she makes.

This episode was even better than part one. Part one felt rushed and didn't have much besides the 9001 WTFs. Part 2 is an instant classic.

You all know she was fucking brainwashed, right? Dipper said it himself. Hell, Wendy and Soos fell under the spell of Mabelland almost immediately and the only reason Dipper didn't is because of his paranoia.
Look at how Mabel reacts when Dipper finally gets through to her. She's put off and a bit disgusted by the bubble.
And "This place gives you everything you want, even before you know you want it"? The bubble was appeasing her by distracting her with what she thought she wanted.

Chaos should involve everything gradually breaking down. Like, the opening was great. But the universe should be constantly falling apart more and more. People should be separating into doubles due to indecisiveness, like in Rick and Morty's season 2 opener. Gravity should be randomly switching on and off. Simply walking could be fatal as you fall through a gap in existence or get stuck in a time loop, endlessly repeating the last five steps over and over again.

The apocalypse isn't actually very weird, it's very generic. Something more surreal or the laws of physics breaking down would be way more interesting. It seems like a fuckton of wasted potential.
In his first two appearances Bill was really strange and uncanny and in his next two appearances he was actually intimidating and scary which is a big accomplishment, this made him unique as a villain. But right now, he could be replaced with a villain from a shitty 80s toy commercial cartoon show and everything would be the same.
The Vs the Future end credits were milee better than the past few episodes. It really felt like the world was ending and everything was hopeless.

The stakes weren't really very high in "Candy Monster", and Dipper wasn't so much as hypnotized as he just became distracted and lost interest in the chase. As kids will sometimes do. In this episode he was on a mission to save his sister, and nothing was more important to him than that. He had a true reason to resist the bubble's allure.
