Richard style: this Anais had a very bad breakdown shortly after High School, and lost most of her drive as a result, she mostly just lays around Gumball's house(she lives with him), although unlike Richard she's actually willing and reasonably competent at house work, and is a good aunt to Gumball's kids(which is part of the reason both Gumball and Penny are fine with her living with them)
Nicole style: this Anais got pregnant shortly after High School, while being a mother has derailed her original plans, she's genuinely happy as a mother, even if it is exhausting at times

Personally I couldn't really give a toss about that. I watch for a laugh and S4 has been bloody full of them. The dialogue has been on point and its damn gold sometimes. Mrs. Robinson is the character who has zero-redemption value, not to mention she is the woman who almost ditches her nearly dying husband. Rob is more of a plot device in the future when he manages to pull his "revenge" on Gumball and Darwin.
