Not quite as good as earlier days of shifter abuse, probably, but you've actually got a better chance than earlier simply because of the daily hero selector draw. Since the free box only draws from the pool of 1* heroes, you have the best odds to draw a Speed and the worst odds to draw a Universal. So you can probably count on multiple Speed selectors per week, which you can use towards Ant-Man.
8 bios a day isn't the -best-, especially when it's not guaranteed, but it does mean that if you're dedicated, you can work your way there. Say you get 3 Speed selectors a week on average, that's 24 bios a week. Then too, say you run Yellowjacket's stage daily with the unlimited entry boosts. Average yourself 3 bios every two days, or maybe 9 in a week. Now you're up to 36 bios a week. The rest is swingy, but between Villain Siege and Lab Missions, say you get at least 2 more a month.
A theoretical devotion to Ant-Man could get you in the ball-park of 146 bios a month towards Scott. So 6* might be a long-term goal without spending anything extra, but you could see it happen in... 3-4 months or so.
You'll probably want to be working on other characters too as you wait but it's not out of possibility.

Let's see. I have enough crystals for 3 suits. I'm maining Angela so I feel like I should get her suit despite not liking how it looks compared to her main team. I've also been eying that Blingpin/Spock/Ultron team, but haven't been using Kingpin at all and am already overstuffed on combat types to master. Then there's Throot who I haven't touched at all and still have at 8*, but damn if he isn't awesome.
But then there's ZVenom and Black Suit Spidey.

Get Spock now, he's awesome, even if you're no using him now he is literally a superior spiderma. Black suit spidey is good for sexual but not much else aside from that 10% bonus so if you like him like I do get that, or you can wait it out for the inevitable new costume with better bonuses.
If you don't like the visuals on angela don't get it, there will be another down the road most likely.
Blingpin is supposedly really good, but he's not my thing. Throot is awesome, but he's gotta be nerfed soon.

Spock is a total overhaul. Noir and 70s Blade make their buffs into attack skills that make both viable. FalCap gives the shield throw. Blingpin gives him blaster moves. Any others?

Noir does much more than that, it changes his main attack so that it's a multihit pistol combo that can move while attacking and modifies his flashbang so that it's not unuseable along with his buff. So withh Punisher you go from main attack is unusable and only 3 attacks that work at 6* to everything working.
The only other one I know of changing a lot if blingpin because he goes blast type and shoots lazers.

OK, so going to go with the Angela costume (because my main team is Blade/Elsa/Angela), the Blingpin costume (so I can make a Blingpin/Ultron/Spock team; currently using Spidey/Venom/Spock but don't like how I'm doubling up on combat).

Eh, who cares about exclusivity? This way it's cheaper to get 3 costumes at release than 2 after release. That's still a good reason to get them when they're out, which keeps the "gotta get 'em now!" incentive, and the whole "exclusivity" thing is dumb. Exclusive costumes would be good if they were just cosmetic, but this kinda gimps people gameplay-wise that might not have been playing when the original suit got released.
I can understand why people that bought them purely because of the "exclusivity" would be upset, but c'mon. NM will make more money this way, while also giving players a way to get costumes they missed out on, just at a steeper cost.

Usually I'm very against F2P/mobile shit but the uni pricing and this game in general makes sense to me. People equate 1250 crystals to the "regular" crystal price which I think is idiotic, I go by Stark stash which makes even a uni at 1250 equal to like 2 bucks.

No, but you're getting it all at once instead of being dolled out over the course of 30 days (meaning you can take advantage of it for the Black Friday deals) and they also come with some nice bonuses (such as bonus hero chests and bios)
Stark Stash is something you should always be investing in since 2450 for $4 is an 11/10 deal, but the fact that you can only have one going at a time and the time restriction means that you're kinda limited on how many crystals you can get at one time.
This is the best instant crystal package you'll get though.

His dps is okay now, he doesn't have a heavy hitter attack like yj, but his skills do as much as his other attacks, he's not nearly as survivable though and the two heads is boosting his attack damage by 8%
Maybe I should switch from crit damage to dodge and boost his attack through iso? It's hard to build this guiy.

Okay, this is the weirdest bug. I'm not complaining exactly due to the functionality,but I just called in my best striker on a hard level. They completely never showed up, though, which is something that's seemed to happen a couple of times recently. Except this time, I swapped to another team member to finish off a sub-boss, and noticed I wasn't able to use any of my specials.
Then I noticed that I wasn't taking any damage, and that my guy was auto-attacking despite not having that toggled on.
I think the game flagged my character as a team up somehow.
So I got to watch him plink away while the boss just fired off all the heavy hits for nothing.

Accodrding to the info, all avengers and default costumes that are available all the time will continue to be 740, former limited sale costumes will now always be available at 1250.
However, costumes will be 750 as they come out, and move to perma sale at 1250 after the 7 day period.
Haven't gotten a proper set for her yet so there's no need for better ISOs.

I think it'd be fine to make them exclusives if they were purely cosmetic, but when you've got costumes practically turning certain characters into totally other characters, or making a shit character becoming mid tier or higher then it's kinda shitty that they're unavailable for people who didn't start playing until afterwards, or were too low on crystals to get them at release.
Making them more expensive still gives incentive to get them at release.

Nah, I never get behind exclusivity bullshit. I'm big into cosmetic shit, and I don't think it's fair to lock folks out of costumes because they were a day late.
It's obnoxious, only to make a few people feel special like they don't have any other chracter traits or something.
They did this with mh2015 but most of the guys who got the exclusives no longer care aout thier exclusive status.
I think the only games that do this now are big names like tf2, lol and that other moba thing. Most of the stuff is still buyable though.

Back whwen I played uncharted 2 religiously for years, I missed the one week they handed out the anniversary Drake costume. Some people playing for the first time got it just by being there, I also got a pawprint I think, but I didn't get the costume.
Honsetly, I'm all for certain things that can reward you for that, but when it comes to aesthetics peoepl don't like being left out. MH had symbiote spidey Maestro and weapon x wolverine as exclusive one time costumes and they were fucking iconic, you can't rightly do that in a game.
