I haven't played it that much so far, but it's not bad. I'm not very good so playing against strangers who have been playing all day makes me feel like the little kid trying to tag along with their big brother.
They have made some improvements over the last version though. Besides the extra characters you can play, there's more variety in enemies which I really wanted, and they rely on numbers instead of being bullet sinks. The special ability stuff is more straightforward too, though I keep forgetting to use them/miss constantly.
