Those would be Transport Stream files, used for broadcasting mpeg2 data, and DVDs are packed in that format too (I think). Just drop them into MKVMerge (use the GUI version, drag the files inside and click "start muxing"), and re-save them as MKV format. It won't be a conversion but simply a re-packing (which is what re-muxing means), which is what you want, in order to preserve quality. If you would convert it, it would take a long-ass time and would lose quality.
I think it desyncs as a mp4 because you are showing mpeg 2 video into mp4 format, and maybe VLC is just too fucking stupid to understand that. Or maybe it screwed up while converting (note that you do NOT want to convert it, you want to remux it, eg. put it into another container). Or VLC just sucks. Or the TS files have errors, but I doubt that.
Maybe try using a real video player (MPC-HC is the easiest to use, most powerful, and smallest), see if it screws up with that too. But I'd recommend re-muxing it to MKV first.

You know, this scene explains a lot when you think about it. Growing up, Adrien's only friend and peer his age was Chloe. Chloe is a domineering bitch. She can even be a little touchy feely around Adrien, either unaware or unconcerned with how uncomfortable that usually makes him. Which is to say, the only real social interaction Adrien had outside of his family and the family employees was with an insensitive cunt who probably walked all over him. Adrien probably became somewhat accustomed to this treatment. In a sense, Chloe trained Adrien to be a subservient bitch boy which is reflected in his behavior as Chat Noir. Notice how he started doing her Physics homework with only a sarcastic comment but no real complaint. A less pussywhipped boy would have refused. But not Chat/Adrien. He's been conditioned to obey his female companions without a second thought. The perfect bitch boy.

Yeah except he isn't afraid to push her away or to speak out against her, even when he's not Chat Noir, he was quick to leave Chole the moment he found out that she wasn't in any danger. I think that it's more that she was his first friend and really only friend that he was reluctant to call her out on her bullshit. However, it seems as though he's slowly losing his patience with her.
