What is the best spice and why is it cinnamon?
>inb4 sage
I like sage. I like cinnamon. I was at a nursery recently and they had some amazing varieties of mint. I like cilantro. There's just so many wonderful herbs and spices out there. I had a club sandwich for lunch today and the spread was this amazing basil aioli. Why pick a favorite?

I would have to disagree.

Cayenne us shit. Literally anything else that adds a touch of heart is better.

I like your choice but I simply feel cinnamon is more versatile. Taste aside it even smells better

A touch of heat just warms my heart.

Fug, I'm on mobile and using Swype. This is the ridicule I deserve for not proof reading.

It's onion powder. You can add it to anything savory.
pepper
plain salt
most versatile, takes a pinch to make a lot of good things even better

cumin though

This. I can't think of a single dish that isn't improved without at least a little bit of salt.
salt is most important, but not a "spice"
best spice is imho good black pepper

You should just use onion

Black pepper mixed with an assortment of other peppers > pure black

Pepper is so insanely useful calling anything else the best is just wrong.
