Ever since I stopped eating sugar 8 years ago, milk chocolate is just too sweet for my taste buds.

I'm not pretending. Even 70% tastes pretty sweet with my diet being free of refined sugars. And the theobromine high is nice. I think 100% tastes like green olives. I usually skip the cocoa butter and blend cocoa powder and/or nibs with frozen bananas, flax, vanilla, and stuff. It's so good I don't bother making anything with my iceless churner.

Espresso is so rich and delicious. I've liked dark chocolate more since I was a child. I used to steal and eat baking chocolates from the pantry.
I also started drinking black coffee in high school. The only time I can remember not liking black coffee was in junior high and before then.

My problem with dark chocolate is that most of it sold for snacking is semi-sweet, wherein the milk and cocoa butter are replaced with more sugar. Milk itself is sweet, so (good) milk chocolate often has less sugar than dark chocolate. I prefer the taste of (good) milk chocolate over dark for that reason. It's less jarringly sweet, and I also prefer the mouth-feel with a high-cocoa butter content chocolate.
Basically, if you say you never eat milk chocolate you are just pretending to be super cool and/or never cared enough to seek out a milk chocolate bar that cost you more than $5.
The more raw the cacao, the more it improves brain function. Dark chocolate is for smart people.
