Grill them plain. Squid tastes great.

batter them to taste and cook on the pan with oil for 2 minutes MAX, squid goes rubbery very quickly but if you time them right they are god tier

Clean them first. Remove intestines and that "plastic" thing. Cut them into small (0.5-1cm) pieces roll them over in flour and fry them.
I've tried many recipes but this one averages as the best.
Buy kiwi fruit, skin those bust up into mash and use as a marinade for 1hr. It removes the rubberness of the cooked product. ProTip.
