Well well, what do we have here?

And the big unveiling.
>>7351478
oh man, love it when the pickle is against the bread like that
>>7351478
Eat a few fries and push the rest to the side so we can see what we've got going on underneath.
They apparently didn't season the fries, but provided salt packets, which is retarded seeing as how the fries are on top of the dog.

The money shot.
It takes some finagling to get a bit of everything in one bite, but it's worth it.
These things are delicious.

>oh man, love it when the pickle is against the bread like that
Is this a euphemism?
>>7351551
One big, giant pile of messy goodness.
Everything obviously steamed in the box on the trip home, so the bun is pretty much falling apart. Fortunately the fries were extra crispy, and are still good.
Next time it's dine-in.
>>7351458
a tourist.
>>7351579
Wouldn't usually expect one hot dog and a handful of fries to fill you up, but this is the perfect amount of food.
Completely satisfying, but I still want another one.

ok, you're about right, that's not even a hefty lunch if you're active.
>>7351604
Just because you saw it on TV doesn't automatically mean it's a tourist place.
Reminds me of the time Borneo visited Chicago, and despite being told to go to Superdawg or Portillo's, spoiled her appetite at McDonald's instead.

that pickle looks like a big ol dick
>>7351921
how often do you see big ol dicks in random objects?
First time I ever had a Chicago dog I was driving solo from San Francisco to NYC in something like 4 days.
I'd heard about Hot Doug's, so I checked my GPS to see how far out of the way it would be from I-80, and was told it would just be around half an hour out of the way.
What my GPS didn't tell me about was rush hour traffic, or the line at Hot Doug's (which actually wasn't that bad when I finally got there).
So 2 hours later I got my foie gras dog, and figured I might as well try a Chicago dog too.
Pic related is the Chicago dog from the now defunct Hot Doug's. It's probably the first time I ever took a picture of food.

plebs with pleb tastes.
Superdawg a shit
Better off getting 2 dogs from Gene and Jude's, or Budacki's on Damen
>>7352266
I can't get over how neon green the relish is.
>>7352266
but how was the foie gras dog??
>>7352427
Despite having driven 24 hours straight, with a few hours of sleep in a shitty motel, and then sitting in pretty much non moving Chicago traffic for an hour and a half, in the middle of Summer, while having to pee, I remember thinking, sitting in my car at the end of it all, and knowing that I was going to have to make my way back to the interstate, and make up for all the lost time, that it was worth it.
The next time I went to Chicago I drove over only to find a sign on the door saying, "Doug is taking a 2 week vacation, so we're closed", and now they're gone for good.
>>7352266
Hot Doug's wasn't particularly known for having good Chicago dogs.

>how often do you see big ol dicks in random objects
Pretty sure the only thing he's ever seen a dick in is his own hand.
They gave you a tomatillo? That's pretty baller.
>>7354480
>tomatillo
No, they give you half pickled green tomatoes.
It's up to you whether or not you want to try to make it a topping or just eat it as a side.
>>7351478
There's a dildo in your fries.
