So for my college class we have to make a meal consisting of a main dish and two sides. What would be a good meal plan that inst overly complicated but still looks good?

what the fuck kind of class is this? You go to some shitty community college?
Pick some cuisine you've never really looked into cooking but really like, like Middle Eastern or Thai or something. Find the simplest recipes you've never messed with and run with it. For example, try to make biryani, dhal, and some naan.
