Can you grill outside? My favorite way to cook wings is by grilling them and basting with melted butter and garlic, then tossing them in a sauce when they are done. It's so much better than fried.

Looks yummy as fuck. Have you tried any methods to clean up your stock from excessive herb or rendered fat for the final product? I've been trying a few things which include straining the stock through a cheese cloth for the smaller particulates, and making a consommé to clarify the color and remove fat. Usually I'd eat it as is, but I've begun to jar and save my stocks for later and I'm trying to keep them as clean as possible.

For lunch I just took this recipe:

http://www.budgetbytes.com/2010/09/singapore-noodles/

and more or less ignored it beyond the rice sticks, and the soy sauce/sesame oil/chili garlic sauce mix.

I was feeling cheap and lazy so I found a Kroger "Private Selection" brand premade asian salad that had most of the veggies. I tossed in some of the garlic I had, mixed it all up in my wok, and it turned out pretty fucking good. It was also really fucking cheap for a lunch given the salad was maybe $2-3 and the rice stick only $1.99. Also the salad dressing that came w/ the premade asian salad (soy ginger or something) mixed pretty well later on for my second bowl.

Gonna look into more stuff I can make w/ rice sticks shit's pretty fucking tasty.

Not who you're replying to, but you can let it cool and return it back to the bottle using a funnel and filter. That's what I used to do.

I pulled it out and it was only about 145 inside so I put it back in for 90 seconds and it was already up to 165. maybe my thermometer isn't good.

threw them on buns and fried a couple potatoes. was good.

how do you cope with hangovers because you seem to be drinking constantly? no offense meant

>>
>>7309226
I usually just make my own, its pretty easy.
Buy premade tikka masala paste.
Fry an onion until translucent, add garlic until fragrant. Add a can of crushed tomatoes and bring to a simmer. Add some frozen peas and carrots and however much curry paste you desire. Meanwhile pull the chicken breast/thighs you had marinating out of the fridge. They were marinating in more of the curry paste and plain yogurt. Fry those up until browned and add them to everything else. Simmer 10-15 minutes until chicken is tender.
I like to add sambal oelek for heat and some more yogurt for creaminess.
Serve over rice.
Wa la, a whole meal that reheats very nicely.

Asparagus has a bit of water in there with lemon and lime juice. Also salt and pepper. Cauliflower is brushed with sunflower oil, salt, pepper, cumin, and the tiniest bit of crushed red pepper. (Both sides) Also a smidgeon of water. Just put it in the oven (covered) and will wait for it to be about halfway done before putting the asparagus in the oven also. Once the asparagus goes in I will begin steaming the carrots.

Moved to a new place back in August that has a gas stove. Its so nice to be able to turn down the heat on command. None of this massive latent heat and pulsing heating shit.
>tfw moving back in with my highschool roomates at the end of the month, no more gas

Glad for this post. Gonna do some fried zucchini day after tomorrow and have not really ever done so before. Any other tips for battering and frying? I'm going to be using powdered crackers instead of flour because I don't own flour. In case that makes a difference.

Unfortunately I live a couple thousand miles away from Houston. I tried to tame a hobo cat when I was a kid and she still comes to my parents' house to get food. She's too afraid to get inside for more than a few seconds though.

Bought a 3 inch, 2.5 pound prime ribeye for $40 for a cheese plate I was planning for my girlfriend.

I overcooked the steak and cut my hand with a bread knife.
We had to cut dinner short to take me to the hospital.
