This. I usually take a sip of the coffee without swallowing, then a sip of milk. Then I lean back and gurgle a bit to properly mix it, as well as covering all 10000 taste buds. Opening and closing your mouth is a good idea if you're trained, but too much air flow will ruin the taste, so be careful. If I'm inebriated somehow, I just close my mouth while doing it for a safety measure.
After that, I spit it out in the tray of sawdust that I also request with the purchase. If they don't have that, I usually sneak behind a potted plant or something and spit it out there.
