Not any more. I'm a nurse now hut put myself through school waitressing and bartending. Other than the occasional douche bag patron, I liked it for the most part and sometimes still miss bartending.
I work at a barbeque joint. I've shuffled from one small restaurant in my town to another, sometimes I free lance at places I used to work, they call me up when things are dire. I just don't like working at any one place for too long, I get tired of the people I work with real fast.

Yes I do. Dishwasher/prep/baking at a breakfast and lunch cafe

are you a serial killer?
I work in an IV room that I call 'The Kitchen'. Everyone else says I'm retarded, so I made them line cooks. That will teach those fuckers. Our best customers are in our oncology wing, because they're -dying- to have our 4 course meal of versed, fentanyl, morphine and norco for desert.

My dad owns a little ~50 cover restaurant with his wife doing the cooking. I've "helped" behind the bar a few times, but that's mostly a case of getting trashed on leftover wine and gin because he hates leaving half finished bottles.
Manager for Carl's Jr, does that count?
Apprentice at a five star hotel. Right now its a bit boring with only making breakfast, but I'm looking forward to making real food soon, even if that means stupid shifts and lots of overtime.
I hope my passion doesnt fade, but if it does, I can still decide to go to university. Its nice being european.

Next time you see somebody kidding around, either play along or ignore it. Saying nothing more than "hey guys, I just noticed something that is obvious" is the worst shitposting.

Spent 9 years in restaurants
Moved to a corporate cafeteria 3 months ago
The food isn't nearly as creative but it's a lot more money, weekends off & benefits
Plus I'm at the point where I can handle any station in the kitchen so they let me play around & experiment with food for catered events

I'm now imagining the newest way for kids at private highschools to imbibe tequila.
