If you do a bit of googling you can see who actually makes those Trader Joe's beers. Here in Connecticut, it's contracted through Cottrell Brewing Co. in Pawcatuck. Not great beer by any means, but a better six-pack than what you can usually get for $5

Most just simply don't do that much regularly, and the difference in drunkenness from 15 to 18 isn't necessarily going to make your drunkenness anymore pleasant or very drastic
