Tried it. It's actually pretty good. Especially like the duck soup and the yolk.
>>
was pretty good specially while drinking had at least 3 of these suckers before i passed out
>>
it's great, use salt when eating it. it has a very eggy taste, moreso than a normal egg. i'm retired and i'm making it my goal to try all the exotic foods i can.

so far i've had
>balut
>fried tarantula
>grilled python
>fried giant ants
and most recently
>kangaroo

How was the python?

My local butcher's orders in Kangaroo and Crocodile, always wanted to try some, but it's pretty expensive, and I wonder how much the meat is affected by how much time it takes to get to England, idk if it would be quality Kangaroo/Croc
>>
>>7082826
They have them at an international market near me. Ive yet to get some. I wanted to get a few and take them to my coworkers so we could all try it together because I probably wouldn't on my own lol
>>
>>7082826
No
I honestly don't think I could either
>>
>>7082826

How does it feel crunching into bones and hardened calcium, in the form of a living thing?
>>
>>7083275
There are actually a small number of crocodile farms in the UK. I'm not sure about kangaroos but I wouldn't be shocked
>>
>>7083600
please kindly fuck off with that shit.

>grilled python
A new grocery store opened up nearby that touts python meat and will cook it on site for you. I'm interested in your thoughts before I go there.
>>
Tried it at a Filipino place in NYC with a bunch of Filipino coworkers. Oddly enough, they had never tried it and we're grossed out when it came to the table. I thought it tasted like chicken soup, was pretty tasty but wouldn't go out of my way to order it again. The experience was awesome though.

The bones are too soft to feel anything, at least they were in the one I had.

I hate to say this but it tastes kinda like frog/chicken but chewier. Before i ate it, they said it'd be tough but it wasn't.

There's a place in the city that has balut?

I mean the city, not fucking queens. I'm not going out to queens just to eat a chicken fetus.

It's strange for me to think of Kangaroo as exotic, you can get it in most supermarkets in Australia.

I was expecting this to be a racist cringe fest but he somehow made it through the whole video without any gaffes.

I had fried crocodile at the county fair last summer (indiana lol). I couldn't decide what I wanted to eat but saw that and was like welp that's what I'm getting

It tasted like chicken with a weird texture. I think it was kind of like a chewy texture, but I would have gotten it again

think of American food this way:

-you can show American food to any foreigner and they would have no problem wanting to try it. However, if you show an American any foreign food, they'll probably be hesitant.

is there one American food that a foreigner find weird?
>>
I wouldn't eat balut - it's grotesque.

That's an unbelievably arrogant thing to say, you really are American.

Off the top of my head:
Americans eat animal testicles.
Then there is the HFCS, bleached chicken, hormone injected meat, vomit chocolate.

American food is disgusting and nobody would eat that awful crap.

Pink slime.

alright gramps?

you can try my python whenever you want, m8 if you catch my drift

Roo tastes like lamb lad.

Is this genuinely how Americans think?
>>
>>7085925
Animal testicles? If you're talking about south or central american countries, some do. But in the USA? Where?

Can't disagree on the hormone meat or vomit chocolate though. I don't buy Hershey's or nestle because of that vomit odor.

Once in Vietnam I was drinking with some people and they offered me what I thought were little hard boiled eggs. When I cracked it open all liquid came out and a little feutus was inside. Politely as I could declined; the only time I've ever turned something down traveling.
>>
>>7085995
I think that anon was trying to make a point that a lot of Americans are very wary of foreign or perceived foreign foods (for little or no reason IMO). In which case I would agree with them.

Hamburgers, Hotdogs, Pizza, Steak, BBQ.

No foreigner would object to it.

German, German, Italian, Earthwide, Earthwide.

I know that you are just shitposting, but you got me to reply. Good for you.
>>
>>7086110

but they're all heavily associated with America. IF you show a burger to any foreigner, they'll think "America"
>>
>>7087177
for burgers, yes. but that's it. maybe BBQ, too, but that's a question of definition. To me, hot dogs are clearly Danish, Pizza Italian and not at all American, and steak really is international.
