Well we don't know what anon looks like, but my experience with the makeup-is-lies-and-only-liars-wear-it people is that they overestimate the difference that makeup makes and either can't get it to work for them or are afraid to try it. They seem to believe that everyone is as plain as they are without makeup (disregarding the idea that women who are really beautiful with makeup probably look quite good without it, too) and that since they can't use it, everyone should stop using it and so level the playing field and make it more 'fair' to them.
