My interest started when I got really serious about battle. We were taught how to appreciate a good pair of ballet feet, which weren't classically pretty by standards. But the structure, the arches, the callouses and worn toenails were all sign of someone who could conquer the world on the ends of their toes. That's what started it all.
Ballet messed up my feet, and I've had surgery to correct the bones and now I'm going through rounds to fix my toenails. Yeah, good hygiene is a selling point with feet. Men rarely give a crap about their feet, yet they want women to have feet on point (pun, hm?). My problem with the usual man's foot is they are so wide and they just look heavy, without any flexibility or strength. They often remind me of the end of a billy club, and that is so unattractive to me. I like feet that compliment a nice ankle—cankles are vile and they legitimately disgust me. Women who never learn to walk in any kind of heel also make me salty, and I kind of feel like they are weaker. I tend to stick to kitten heels to be kind to my recovering feet, but I maintain my strength in my ankles. After my surgeries my feet could barely do anything, and I felt the same way a weight lifter seems to feel when they lose muscle mass.
I like strong + delicate-looking feet. They and ankles are my favorite part of the body. I hate seeing people in poorly fit shoes.
Nice shoes and nice feet seems to be one of the most ultimate forms of self-love out there, because you rarely see them but when they are out and showing that love, you know it is something with some confidence and that is very attractive.
