So, I really like investing in bull put spreads, because I feel like its a pretty low risk, moderate reward play and I've been doing well on them for awhile but I want to expand my horizons outside of AAPL and GOOG weeklies. Do you guys have any stocks that you think would be good for this type of strategy. I usually sell far out of the money puts and buy only a little more out of the money than that

have u tried trading it on indexes?

how long u been doing this strategy? I know its a high prob strat, but how do u control your losses? Do you let it go full loss or sell it off before it reaches that?

What delta do you like?

Netflix is a beast. Sell spreads every downtick.

Also monitor CMG.

Also why weeklies. 45 dte is golden spot.

I haven't tried it yet, but also I usually let it go full loss. My dad and I have been basically going halfsies on the plays and we've only lost really a handful of times, though that obviously adds up pretty quickly if you do it wrong enough lol. And>>1019726
Honestly I just look at the spread. I haven't really learned how to calculate all the greeks yet and though I know that delta tells you how much the options price changed per dollar the underlyings does, I don't exactly get how that can be applied to the risk of a stock

Well said another way. a 1.00 delta option is full stock equivalent of 100 shares. A 0.30 delta option is like owning 30 shares of the Hundred in the contract.

So if you were doing say a covered call strategy. to be delta neutral you'd need 3 -- 0.33 Delta calls against.
