After watching the markets for a few weeks, and following finance for years, I finally bought my first stocks. How did I do? I am looking at everything short term

Why netflix and why ford?

Because I like their companies!
just kidding, although ford stocks fell with brexit, there is a chance that they will be able to negotiate better tariff agreements with UK now, and though passenger car sales are down, everything else is up for a net gain of 6.4% sales YTD.
As for netflix, they also dropped with brexit, but I think it is generally undervalued by ~ 7%-10%. I placed my order last night and unfortunately for me NFLX opened today 3% higher than yesterday's close so that's cutting into my margins.
My plan is to hold onto these shares for a week or two and then sell.

Ford for the short term seems odd, their known for being more stable and conservative than having big spikes. They have a good dividend and low valuations which would make them better in the long-term, just my opinion.
