FAQs
> How is it free?
They invest your unsettled funds after a trade.
It's also pretty basic software.
> When is it coming to my country?
Probably never. They only have plans on an Australian beta ( https://robinhood.com/au/).
> It's been X days, why isn't my account isn't verified yet?
If it takes more than 3 days, try emailing their support. They are very good.
> Is this the right place to pump and dump and/or shill a worthless stock?
No, please go to Stocktwits, Plebbit, or one of our many chat groups.
> What's a good penny stock to invest in?
Don't buy penny stocks you cum guzzling mouth breathing retard.
> I hit sell when the stock was X.XX, but it actually sold at a lower price, am I being jewed?
No, that would actually be illegal. Robinhood graphs are just shit and only show you an average, not-really-realtime price. To get Bid/Ask prices and important things like candlestick graphs, you should use a more robust platform.
> Where can I get better charting or bid/ask?
thinkorswim is bretty gud if you want to go open a second account with real broker.
Otherwise you should be using Yahoo/Google finance or even Stocktwits for your graphing in addition to Robinhood.

How do you guys make money off of literal memes? I'm new to Robin Hood
>>1296864
Invest in VMEM (Virtual meme)
https://www.google.com/finance?q=vmem&ei=xZZaV-npCcapmAG02ZKoAg
>>1296864
By investing in them.
>>1296867
I mean like specifically what are the tells?
>>1296870
Hype which you usually find here.
High volume also helps.
Elliot wave theory also helps knowing when to sell.
Also remember:
Buy Low, Sell High.
>>1296870
Market Cap, Trading Volume, Hype.
etc GEVO.
They had a test flight with biofuel, we capitalized on the hype.
>>1296874
Should I just buy what ever meme you guys post here? I'm not very good at this :)
>>1296860
Buy in at 1.00 wait till September (when production begins I believe)
>>1296880
Read up on investing and day trading senpai. Don't always follow the crowd, though /biz/ has good hits from time to time.
>>1296880
>Should I just buy what ever meme you guys post here?
yes and no, I say watch the thread for a few days, don't throw all your money on one stock...
I just started with $100, now I am doing $1,000 at a time.
>>1296880
Don't do that you'll end up buying GEVO: the dead stock
>>1296883
What are your gains so far?
>>1296883
And where do you guys read up on the news for these companies?

Seeking alpha, Google, random stock news etc.
>>1296897

BUY THE DIP
THIS IS TODAY'S MOON RIDE BOYS
>>1296907
What makes you say that?
>>1296908
High AH and PM price fluctutations. Good reports last night. Hype is way up. Wait for more bizrealis to confirm b4 you buy in famm.

You threw $3000 at RH on your first week? You got balls man
>>1296907
At what buy in?
>>1296917
>At what buy in?
Depends on the dip. 2.2-2.3 is well i'd assume depending on if it launches or not
Dont trust me 100% though
>>1296911
But it's way up AH already. Is it expected to hit $3-$4 or crash and burn after open?
>>1296907
I think the moon rocket has long left on that one, might be a few bucks to be made tho.
LPCN, do it
>>1296928
except there has been no lift off during market hours.
don't you think the idiots at stockwits won't gobble this up like crazy once the market opens?
What about TPLM? Sell at open or hold on and prepare for the moon?!
>>1296932
why would they? its already jumped 1.17 to 2.5, its not going to get cheaper.
>>1296941
it peaked at ~2.75 AH and over 3 pre market.
why wouldn't it go up? news were dropped yesterday afer closing.
day traders know this, and they will pump and dump.
not all stocks are hold the bag get the rich dum dum
Why is PTX PM volume so low? Can we expect dip at open?
Why did TPLM just tank pre-market?!
>>1296947

>>1296987
Buy PTX at .60
>>1296987
PTX seems pretty safe.
MCZ is always a good pick boys. Steady increase.
Keep an eye out on it
>>1296991
What's the story on PTX again? Holding for 2nd quarter results?
>>1296987
SPHS
>>1296998
I see people keep saying that there's a strong chance of a buyout that could happen any time. Otherwise, all I know about are the price fluctuations, and PTX keeps steadily rising day after day.
>>1297001
SPHS seems too risky. can't see it holding up these gains
>>1297003
it's not gonna hold up gains, you buy the dip, it'll rise during the day, then you sell
neither PTX, KMPH or ARRY are going to hold up either
we're looking at meme stocks here, not investments
keep it real senpai
>>1297003
maybe, unlike PTX tho, there is some substance/reason for SPHS gains beyond hype
>>1297006
news was released yesterday on market close about good results on a ball cancer treatment
it's actually got results
that's why it's been spiking on AH and premarket
>>1296928
>>1297009
that's what I mean, PTX has nothing similar driving it beyond analyst reports and speculation
not that you can't make a buck from that too
First for ARRY a shit
Damn PTX PM volume is damn high. Hype for market open, there is very high demand.
ARRY @ 3.45 premarket, good buying opportunity today?
>>1297011
you're right, I need more faith!
So is selling TPLM at opening the move?
>>1297016
yeah 180k on PTX. damn high for a penny stock
only 1.5m on SPHS.
wonder which one is in demand. since PTX is falling slightly, and stagnant at best
so SPHS buy right out of the gate or wait 30mins?
I'm kinda a new to rocket memes
>>1297018
I bought it at 3.54 didn't expect it to actually go lower. I would say go for it, but remember it isn't expected to spike until the end of the month. If you aren't patient get it the week before.
Strap on your helmets and lace up your moonboots, boys, we're going in HARD!!!
>>1297036

SPHS
gotta be careful with SPHS bros. it looks like GEVO lite.
>>1297045
except GEVO exploded during the day.
if you bought GEVO at closing thinking it would rise during night and next day, you deserved it
GEVO was incredible for making money during the day.
don't be a bag holder, that's where it's at
WTF DOES SKLN THINK ITS DOING
Anybody know why skln is up 70% in premarket????
As a newbie at this, what does it mean when a company has insider selling happening?
20 mins before open what's the plan here?
>>1297053
SPHS
>>1297051
means someone 'inside' the company (CEO or president for example) is selling some shares
if youre an insider you have to declare trades of your own stock to the SEC so everyone can see it
>>1297053
Ptx or sphs
>>1297053
All in to SKLN and SPHS so we inflate the price and I can GTFO
>>1297055
No, I know that, I meant what does that mean for outsiders like us. Does that go in or stay away.
PTX looking like better play here
Yall think i should hold skln or get out now any reason for this shoot up
>>1297053
I've 1000 PTX I bought at.56, sell that if it jumps a healthy amount - buying 500 bongbucks of SPHS if it dips
>>1297060
sometimes it means shits gonna hit the fan and the CEO is trying to hold his gains
sometimes it means the CEO is just getting some cash to buy his daughter a birthday present
who fuckin knows m8
put it all into BLIAQ
>>1297066
Yeah im in 500 for PTX might sell if it peaks and buy in at dip
Idk if I want to get in on sphs
>>1297067
Okay, thanks. Its just weird a major shareholder plus two executives...
HEAR btw is what I'm talking about.
>>1297065
if you get gains, set up a stop loss locking in those gains. keep the stop loss following the highs and get out by the end of the day
Hold steady on SPHS boys. Wait for a dip, do not market buy at the open.
Why wait for the dip? Just started this week
>>1297078
There is always a dip after AH romance explosion.
>>1297078
The opening minutes will give you a good indication of where it's going for the day. You don't want to buy at open just to have Everyone else sell and now you're stuck bag holding. But if you buy the dip you can get sweet gains
>>1297054
Isn't it a little late for that?
>>1297078
>buy low sell high
the dip is where the price dips. and you buy in at a lower price. jesus man, this isn't physics
>>1297081
how so?
nobody in the regular market has had a chance to buy in yet.
news were announced right after closing
>>1297083
It's already doubled, and the mood for the market in general looks sour. If it goes much higher, that would be surprising. But I'm buying in anyways so if it does blow up more I don't miss out.
NOT MINE, I'M ON A MOON MISSION
>>1297089
just buy the dip already
SKLN up 42% in premarket, bagholders rejoice! This is our chance to get out even!
No news forthcoming yet, but I'll be holding at open just to see if there's a reason for the jump.
Bad move. If you get lucky you get OUT

aaaaand PTX already looking like shit
>>1297107

>>1297099
You'll want to hold SKLN. Even if their future deals go bad you won't lose much money. If it decides to rise up to .30 you could end up making a lot of coin. Just my 2 cents. You might get to partake in one of those incredibly rare opportunities where you get to profit from

Gevo Announces Pricing of $9.5 Million Public Offering of Common Stock
ENGLEWOOD, Colo., June 10, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Gevo, Inc. (NASDAQ:GEVO), a leading renewable chemicals and next-generation biofuels company, announced today that it has priced its best efforts public offering of common stock. Gevo announced that it has agreed to sell 21,080,456 shares of common stock at a public offering price of $0.45 per share.
The gross proceeds to Gevo from this offering are expected to be approximately $9.5 million. Gevo currently intends to use the net proceeds from the offering to fund working capital and for other general corporate purposes.

This press release does not constitute an offer to sell, or the solicitation of an offer to buy, these securities, nor will there be any sale of these securities in any state or other jurisdiction in which such offer, solicitation or sale is not permitted.
A preliminary prospectus supplement and accompanying prospectus describing the terms of the offering has been filed with the SEC and a final prospectus supplement will be filed with the SEC. blah blah blah
>BUY THE DIP it has a secondary public offering that it filed for yesterday.

>>1297158
I have about 1.2k invested in PTX. You think it's worth the long hold?

>>1297146

>>1297169

Why the heck are people still holding prior day's day trading stocks?
>>1297161
No. Get in GEVO if you're holding something till next Tuesday. or even HEAR.
How long should a market buy take? Usually they are nearly instant, but one I just made is still pending 20 minutes later.
Can you cancel a transaction?
>>1297178
Buy more GEVO? I'm currently a trapped bag holder
>>1297179
I'm having the same problem with SELLING right now. Placed an order last night and I still have the stock. Can't place another order and can't cancelle the original. This is fucking unbelievably stupid.
>>1297178
Saw your high risk thing nvm read the article, risky indeed
This just happened to me. Eventually it just said failed and cancelled by itself.
>>1297187
This is happening to me currently. Comes up with an error saying it cant cancel the order right now
Putting a stop loss doesn't count as a transaction unless it's carried through right. I got a stop loss on PTX at .55. Already have 2 day trades in the past 5 days
>>1297114
Sold 1000 shares at .175
Got 500 left that had a limit sell on them, trying to cancel it is a no go for some reason. Not sure if Robin Hood is trolling me or the order is set already.

>>1297226
You're probably blindly buying shit with out reading stuff. Everyone knew CERU won't have anything good till the 14th at bare minimum and even then it still probably won't yield results, if you're going to invest in BioTech/pharmaceuticals then research. If it says "Yeah this company has DILDOX930 CURRENTLY IN PROGRESS OF BEING PERFECTED AND WILL KEEP PATIENTS DIAGNOSED WITH 'EVERY CANCER EVER STAGE 11' ALIVE FOR LONGER" and ends the article with "also filing chapter 11 bankruptcy in 3 days" Then don't buy it.
>>1297235
I've had a good week so I'll probably drop 1200 in GEVO and risk it for the biscuit. To be honest if enough people buy this stock it would boost on its own. Like if everyone on biz did that whole "Forming one giant cock to fuck the market" thing I was talking about we could use our numbers as a force to be reckoned with and troll your average shorter on stocks.
>>1297255
you are severely overestimating the amount of money on /biz/

He's right, that's why we need to shill somewhere else too.
>>1297255

/biz/ could never organize to do anything. Most of the posters here don't have a clue about stocks in general and others are making like $10 trades. Even multiplied by dozens of neets that's not enough to move the float.

earnings on the 16th so might be seeing some growing volume as well.
>>1297260
PSID is the cheapest stock I can think of, I bought 18k shares for like $200 for laughs because if it gets bought for its whole zika virus detection thing this summer I might get rich or lose $100.
>>1297261
I was going to hold HEAR over the weekend because they have a headset being released on the 12th. I would sell Monday at open. It wouldn't be a lot of money, but it's not bad for sitting there over the weekend.
>>1297259
You don't need a lot of money to buy a lot of shares of something. You just need about $100 extra cash and find a stock like FDBL and buy a lot of shares. I've lurked this board for about a year now, and I'm surprised no one has done this, we have like 500 different IDs posting in this thread, that's a lot of people.
>>1297255
so should I just wait for my memes to get better, or should I sell at a loss, and start over?
>>1297265
Thats a good call. So Noko, the almighty prophet, please help us find a stock and we'll raid it and spam it on Stocktwits
>>1297266
Well you have a point. If people would save their pennies for a month or even 6 months they would have enough to buy a million shares of an ultra cheap stock and sell it and buy repeatedly over 10 days.. Not many people have self control like that. I'm sure a handful of people could orchestrate something like this, albeit on a smaller magnitude, we're not millionaires or billionaires. My father once told me "You can lead a horse to water, but you can not make it drink."
I just emailed RH. They fixed my selling issue. Still sketched out though. That was the the LITERAL shit of nightmares.
>>1297275
Sure, let's do PSID it looks more promising than FDBL, it's incredibly cheap. I'll buy more shares of it to show good faith in my fellow biz, the worst that can happen is we lose a couple hundred bucks. That happens to be part of the game, as it were. PSID all day.
>>1297281

i have over 30k in buying power because actual margin account. mostly trade futures. i watch RH thread for fun.
>>1297292
I didn't know they were non rh stocks. I don't use RH.
>>1297295
I'm not joining a pump and dumb, but I did buy PSID because they have a solid future ahead of them.
>>1297304
Shill for FDBL and PSID, they're about equally as cheap and they both have good news in the making. I don't know if you have FDBL. If anyone has ideas let's mesh.
>>1297299
GET HYPED
>>1297295
Yeah but I'm a Rh cuck in the Rh general
>>1297306
The majority of folks on stocktwits probably have RH, so would it not be best to mainly shill ones that we know are on RH?
>>1297299
what is it?
>>1297295
Interested but no capital till I sell PTX. If a target comes along next week I'd help out.
>>1297306
Such good stocks and prime targets for successful shilling but none are on RH
>>1297303
Noko, I'm thinking ENZN may work... Just maybe.
>>1297310
We have already crossed this issue.
>>1297314
I would only advise PSID and FDBL, stick to the plan
>>1297306
How about WRESQ. I could use some shilling.
>>1297314
That's already a .39 stock we wouldn't be able to move millions of shares. It has nothing of value, and is hardly traded, we need something far far cheaper that can be manipulated on a small scale. Nothing over .08 per share
>>1297295
I'm the person who made this post. Noko or someone else make a thread on the psid stock manipulation topic, link it and lets move there. (P.s you can buy psid on scottrade I opened an account online more on this in the new thread.)
XGTI is a good long term. There's a stock split coming before August, they've got a good product that's getting looked at by the military and they're DIPPING HARD TODAY.
>>1297299
Fingers crossed
>>1297324
split or reverse split?
>>1297323
maybe don't make a separate thread, lest you want the shilling to be exposed
>>1297295
Down with 2 grand
>>1297326
Is says reverse split approved
Which anon called the SPHS moon mission?
>>1297321
How about ORIG, SCON, or CLRB?
GBR is on an official moon mission
MEANWHILE, ON /biz/: neets argue and hypothesize about which stock they'll raid and "pump" with their $10 RH trades.
Never mind. Still can't sell my shit. Just sent them 5 fucking emails with pictures. RH is a fucking joke.
