FOMO, as you described it, is what I just went through with those 2-3 stocks. AMD, Nvidia, and FXCM. I was aware of AMD at $2, Nvidia at $35, and fxcm at 4-5$. Bought in both of these entirely too late sold them from emotions just today probably on a bad whim.
I will definitely watch myself much closer because I don't like throwing money away. Thanks again for the advice and I hope to see you here!

If there were specific sources to teach you the whole game everyone would be stock trading with success. Investopedia is great, I would watch random trading videos and every time I heard a term I was unfamiliar with, I would look it up. You need to learn to read charts efficiently and then you can develop your own strategy to trade. This being said, just look up trading strategies and see what kind of results and methods different people use

I've bounced between jobs, but do this full time. If you're trying to hold down a full time job, it's hard but if you're diligent you can definitely pick it up in your office time. You can always tailor your trading strategy to your needs. If you're a guy who can't get the full 930am-4pm, that alright you can be more of a swing trader or semi long trader, it all depends on what you're looking for. I basically only work for the first 45 min of theach trading day and I'm done, luckily I live on the west coast so market opens at 630am meaning I can trade and be done long before I need to go to work
