Hey /biz/. I've been a lifeguard going on 6 years. Part time during school years and full time in the summer. I'm thinking of branching out and getting my CPO license. Certified Pool Operator.

What can I do with a CPO and 6 years of lifeguarding experience the answer is obviously work on pools but what would the title of said job be I'd be looking for.

Start a pool maintenance company. It is particularly profitable.

I know one guy in Florida who makes like $80k a year just driving around, cleaning up pools and checking their chemicals.

I'd personally rather join one. The thing is, I have no experience starting a business at all. But I'm aware CPO people make money. I'm looking at doing something I over the summer I can make more money with before I go to law school.

Smart enough to be a lawyer, smart enough to seduce 45 year old wives of lawyers and get enough for law school just on their gifts bro.

Pool boy porn didn't come out of nowhere.

I'm actually working at luxury pool at a wealthy apartment complex and I'm a tall guy that's fit. If I'm hit on by 45 year old wife I'll roll with it.

Im not sure what you can do with a CPO in the short terms but you should work at a pool maintenance company for 1-2 years, basically enough time to know the business. Then youll have the option of starting your own, if you decide against law school. Only do it if it pays more than what you do now, though.

Do you need to be a life guard to do this? And I'm it's best to start this business in places where it's year round warm?
>>

well yeah, just join a pool company for a year. Learn everything you need, then start your own.

Yes it's best in warm places where almost everyone has a pool. Florida is perfect for it.

No lifeguard experience needed you just need to know pool chemicals and cleaning.

Seems like a nice gig. And looks like a different form of lawn maintenance.
