Hi /biz/
Just looking for a little career advice.
My eventual aim is to become accomplished as a strategic/business analyst, working my way up from the entry-level position I have now. I'm at a bit of a crossroads concerning what I can study to improve my skill set. Basically the main options I'm looking at are the following:
Master of International Relations (specialising in international political economy, which is my passion and I would eventually be interested in pursuing a PhD in)
Master of Information Systems (a bit more practical and has clearer domain-specific relevance, although I don't have much of a computing background. I think working with programming languages could be fun though)
Master of Accounting, which seems to be the safest option and could get me a pathway to a CPA, but I don't know anything about the job market in accounting or anything.
I've been guaranteed acceptance into any of these programs, but I'm finding it really hard to weigh up the pros and cons of what I could get out of these.
I have the grit and determination to apply myself to any of these, but my problem is I'm just a white collar pleb who doesn't know much about how the mechanics of the job market function. Any advice wiser anons could provide would be much appreciated.
Also considering agriculture management since that's going to take off here in Australia soon.
Inba 'this isn't /college/' '18-year-olds get the fuck off /biz/'. I'm not asking what meme degree to jump into, just fishing for suggestions that could be useful. I'm not a desperate NEET pleb; I already work full time in a job I enjoy and just want to expand my credentials.
