Can we get a /biz/ness clothes thread going?
I haven't heard much talk lately about what to wear to interviews, haircuts, etc.
Can we discuss do's and dont's of suits? Here's what I've been wearing lately by I haven't been having much luck with interviews, hopefully it gets a little better as I have a few more coming up this week.
Pic related, it's my business suit.
More like Empty Suit General

>clothes thread going?
How often does this cunt come back? This shit has been going on for more than a year now.
Fuck off to /fa anon
Bow tie: Yes
Necktie: Kill yourself (literally)
The bow tie is superior in every regard. In terms of aesthetic, convenience, and safety. Quite literally choke yourself to death if you wear neckties.

What are you talking about? This is my first thread I have made on this wonderful board.

I run a department at a local bank branch.
A man walked in for an interview wearing a bow tie.
I asked him if i was wearing a bow tie, he said no. I asked him if anyone else in the office was wearing a bow tie. He said no. I told him to 'get the fuck outta 'ere. Go on, get.'
I never knew anyone who wore a bow tie, and wasn't a complete retard.

Kek, spot on
Very few people in business give a shit what you wear, as long as it's not a distraction.
I got my current job because I only came to work (as an intern) in one of the two $200-suits I owned. My boss later confessed to me that he couldn't stand the 2 other interns because they kept 'trying too hard' by dressing above their position.

bow ties are for fucking aspies and frat bros, why the fuck would you wear one outside of a black tie event?

kek.
Unless your name begins with "Count" that's not business attire.

If I caught any employee at one of my bank locations behaving this way I'd fire them on the spot. That's the dumbest fucking story I've heard.

Obviously that is not what you wear.

You shouldn't be too casual at the interview though. At least a blazer and dress pants is probably a good idea unless your job description involves asking customers if they want to supersize their order.
