Cheers OP
Was wondering out of that list which ones would be a more beginner friendly, as some of the material is quite advanced

Libgen
It has a ridiculous amount of books and papers. I'd go so far to say that 80% of important books can be found there. Lacks some of the newest editions, but feel free to upload.
>>1005069
I should elaborate more. Many of these books are centered around stocks, portfolio and wealth management, as well as economics and finance. I'm seeding most.
>>1005806
Looks cool I'll check it out. Thanks.
Here's another library with it's selection centered around day trading.

Cool, got any lists of books focused on valuation? Thanks m80
I'll throw some resources out that I find valuable. Many IBs publish free market outlooks. They're useful in understanding the current condition of the market. I wouldn't base investments off their predictions without further research however.

Usually listen to an audio book during my work commute or when I'm on the toilet.
Google "financial literacy finding your way" on Google, second link is a PDF of the course guide, which is essentially a word for word transcript of the video course. Video lecture series is on tpb, too.

Not sure if this is the right thread but...
Can someone recommend books in regards to "social skills" for lack of a better word in the business environment? Like, how to deal with office politics, how to get on your boss's good side, how to market yourself really well, what to do to move up positions, etc.
Hopefully my request makes sense!

It has more ebooks than Pbay. Its also home to more than 20 million peer-review journals.
What places do people check for news? I mean, there's a ton of different news sources on the internet, but which ones are really worth checking on a regular basis? Both for financial news in general, and for information pertinent to different types of industry.
>>1009391
Never Eat Alone - Keith Ferrazi.
One of the few books on networking/building relationships/playing office politics that I've found actually applicable.

Be in college and use the library. Sure it's not like people with the time to contribute to 4chan have time to be contributing to the economy
So I am reading through these and all of them preface with the same shit basically.

How important is learning economics for trading/ investing?
>>1009912
They are required to say that by law. Try to read books by, or recommended by, successful investors, traders, and hedge fund managers.

I found out that Microsoft has thousands of free courses in multiple languages. These courses cover product training, development, coding etc. Pretty neat.
It's called Microsoft Virtual Academy.
