Ubisoft storytelling at its shittiest. If quality narrative is professional sports, then Ubisoft writing is teeball; it doesn't matter how good anyone is so long as everyone gets to play. And Ubisoft is more worried about pandering to minority and female involvement than whether or not plot is good or even sane.

The gameplay is a joke. Why the fuck am I assaulting fortified positions without so much as a rifle? If they didn't have the balls to let a player have a gun in a Great War game, then they shouldn't have made a Great War game. Fine, the nurse doesn't need one and she can do more puzzling, but the frontline troop characters and their unarmed raids are fucking ridiculous.

I don't know why they market the game as an interactive graphic novel. It's not, at all. It probably should have been. The game would be absurdly easy if not for the horrible controls. I've seen actual comic books with better control response than this game.

And the puzzles suck. Most puzzles are solved by just clicking anything you can click, and if you actually tried to care they're either absurd unintuitive adventure game logic and/or just finding the item that starts the fetch quest chain.

And I'm genuinely curious if this is a glitch, but in my game Emile and the black guy have been running around in wifebeaters since the start of the war.
