I disagree, Yeezus was much more concise thematically, all of the songs feel like they were written from the same exact mindset instead of reused scraps from his early days of rapping. Also the production was much better and actually pushed the envelope of what rap could sound like, Travis Scott, Tyler the Creator, Vince Staples, etc. all of their most recent albums are heavily influenced by Yeezus. When you grew up with late 90s Hip-Hop, you were generally a mainstream fan or an underground head. There was some crossover (Nas, Mobb Deep, Wu-Tang), but for the most part, Hip-Hop was very commercialized at the time, almost all gangster/street, and payola was just running radio. To me, Two Words basically represents what Kanye did. He brought the game together. Now we see mainstream artists like J.Cole and Kendrick that can live in mainstream and underground realms, and Kanye laid the groundwork for that happening, because in the late 90s, you didn't get on the radio with out a commercial single with Ashanti and a street image.
