I've noticed if I drive in my neighborhood below 20 MPH it works, I think 25+ it stops counting it because I drove 20 Miles (I was going to the doctor and playing) and it registered about 2.5 KMs, so there's a cut off and the fastest I go on that route is 47 MPH

I know exactly how they work. When used correctly (so you don't do anything physically impossible) you set way points and walking speed. At first there is no way they can tell the difference between this and actual walking, but it's pretty easy once enough data is gathered. To make it less so, you'd have to randomize your path and walking speeds. There's little chance they'll go through the trouble of applying calculus to this data to detect systems that utilize random points/speeds, but it is very possible. It's exactly how I detected bots in a game called Dofus years ago.
