well you don't need stitches is the point I was getting at. basically you disifect it a couple times a day, let it dry out for about an hour each time and bandage it up until it scabs over. then disinfect it once a day for a week and each time it reopens. Stitches only help with scaring. Its kinda amazing how many people go to the doctor for things that really don't need help in the first place
