i sometimes get bored of that and make deep dish.

deep dish is excellent because it's all about the toppings. regular pizza is a lot more about the crust and cheese. you will use 4-5x the amount of toppings in deep dish to fill it out.

if you care about crust, regular pizza is the way to go
if you want a circular casserole of toppers, deep dish
