The thing I don't like about these kinds of games is that it really boils down to who sees who first and manages to pull the trigger first. When you can down another player in one shot or less then 2 seconds of shooting you can't really say you outskilled them much. Games where once a fight starts it can turn to favor either person involved depending on how they handle themselves during the fight is where skill takes a big part in the fight. man I remember I enjoyed the shit out of that as a kid but when I went back to play it...

The levels are repetitive as fuck and the combat has little depth, just attack, block or ranged attack. Finding also that last enemy or corner of the map in each level was fustrating as shit too since you move around so slowly. Even the chest opening animations were slow.

The story was still pretty great to be fair and the crafting system was nice.
