There are certainly a lot of things from this album that'll stay with me for a while. One of the bigger ones is Kendrick's main theme of his roots, and racial issues. Blacker The Berry is a very good example of that. Not to mention the instrumentals on this album are stellar. The saxophone and the funky rhythms on some tracks really give it a unique vibe. The track 'Momma' was really heavy on me, since I lost my mom 2 years ago. But this album is definitely going to be in my top 5.
