To those providing bathroom OC. I've tried doing this before at a ski cabin over the winter. A bunch of my girlfriend's friends went with us... 4 girls, 1 bathroom. All rotated in and out of the showers after a day skiing. Timing was perfect, but my setup failed to record. The only recording i did get was a set of legs. Going to do the trip again next year, same cabin, same women.
I've been messing with the camera in a toiletry bag I can hang on a hook and leave in there, but I'm open to other ideas.

Good idea, but they're kind of pricey. In the past, I've started using an old phone as my dedicated media player. Started using it a month before the mission so it didn't look suspect. No sim card in it, bare bones apps... "just my music player, baby." I traveled with portable speakers and a collapsible stand for the phone.
When I got to the mission, it didn't look funny that I had it set up on the counter on the stand, speakers hooked up, charger plugged into the wall, music playing.
Set my home screen to a widget of the media player app and nothing else. Found a launcher that enables me to hide the app drawer. Only thing someone sees is a list of songs and a play/pause button.
Use the bathroom in the morning, start a hidden cam app on motion detection mode, let everyone use your old phone for music while they shower.
Only problem I've ever had is with someone taking it off the stand to change the track and putting it down on the counter. I've shortened my wires and secured them to the stand so they really can't do that... wire isn't long enough to sit on the counter, so they put it back on the stand. Took a lot of trial and error.
The best way to hide something is in plain sight.

Yea, you just need to test test test everything.
You need recording times, battery life estimates, test angles and positions of the camera, etc. Test everything everything everything until you know exactly how it'll operate without a doubt.
Will the lens fog after three hours in a steamy bathroom? What happens when the memory card is full? What if the power cord is unplugged? Will the battery die immediately or in two hours? Is motion detection mode seamless and instant, or will it take a few seconds to start, missing potential win? What if someone puts a hair brush or shampoo bottle down right in front of your phone? How do you position it to prevent that, or prevent clothes or a towel from being placed in front of it?
What happens when they decide to unplug your phone and use their own? Simulate that. You need to test these scenarios more than NASA tests it's rovers.
Also... make sure you use this phone regularly for a media player. Don't just show up with it one day and be like "OK, this is going into your bathroom now.". Use the phone in your car and your house and use it regularly while showering.

Hours of footage every day during a week of vacation a few years ago. Tons of win, 8 women. No, i won't share win, just technique. Not willing to risk it. Don't ask.
At night, I'd connect the phone to wifi and transfer all of the videos to a secure encrypted server at my house then delete them locally. Phone was clear and ready by morning. Repeat the procedure the next day. 64 gig memory card in my phone plus an app with motion detection easily got me through a whole day. Did that for a week.
