Also, having a flat sales tax would eliminate all other taxes. No income tax, not property tax, etc, since there would be more than enough revenue from the sales tax.

Also when a rich boy buys a new private jet for 10 million, he will pay 2 million in taxes on that purchase. Where as when a middle class person buys a car for 25,000 they will only pay 5,000 in taxes. So only 5,000 instead of 2,000,000. In the end the rich are still paying more taxes.

Collecting consumption taxes are fuck expensive and literally all of the $20 are going to be consumed by the cost of collecting and redistributing it.
