I think the failure on both sides is grasping how one might define God, in which case, a person might say God doesn't exist, simply because they fail to grasp that God could be more than their definition. On the other side, one might say God exists and be wrong due to their own misconception about it. Either way, it has been proven the mind is predisposed to "needing" a form of higher power... Even if one chooses to define their beliefs haphazardly. My "God" is simply the totality of all, the unknown bond of the universe, in a sense my god is you and me, and what makes us and the things around us... I would never consider God a form or being, "more God" is not a singular thing, IT is all things, all at once.
