One more thing. Just don't let the conversation die. For people who are bad at conversation, awkward pauses often come into play. There shouldn't be any awkward pauses. If a conversational thread has ended, you can't let the conversation die.

So if a conversational thread has died down, you can try using a transition like "and so, anyway", or "but yeah..." and just immediately start talking about something else. The more relevant the better, but anything is better than letting the conversation and the vibe die down, because it can be hard and in many cases impossible to get back.

For someone who is logical thinking they have to take a logical, tactical approach to social interaction. This is the difference to someone who is unintelligent, who doesn't really put too much thought into what they do.

I'm very similar to OP, but older. Nothing will change over the years, unfortunately. What I've noticed is that the problem is not you. The problem is that women categorize guys and will quickly segment some types out and avoid them. As the women get better at identifying people of this type they will asses you quicker and things only get worse. Women act more as a group and become normalized as that group congeals with fewer outliers. That may cause you to simply become more isolated as time goes on. I've analyzed this for years and believe it's a deep seated nature thing to isolate some types of people out so the group becomes more singularly focused.

I've also analyzed why women are attracted to men that beat and abuse thdm. This may go back the the caveman days where brutality rules. A position of strong psychological control and emotional reliance from the point of view of the female is the position that I prefer to operate from in a relationship.
