I'm not bipolar. I don't enter periods of mania. I cycle through feeling depressed and suicidal, then just depressed, then just melancholic, then normal, then back again. It's like waves, it hits and then recedes, constantly. Each wave getting bigger than the last. This time the wave was too big and I almost killed myself. I pulled myself from the brink at the last minute and went to my mother's house to have someone there to stop me if necessary.

I've been diagnosed with having a schizotypal personality disorder as well as major depression. I was seeing a therapist, but I couldn't afford to pay for her anymore. I'm going to find another one, a behavioral specialist that can hopefully at least give me coping mechanisms. I'm also thinking maybe I should be on antidepressants.
