That's a very idealized statement and while we could pretend, that's not how societies (even our microcosm here within sfur threads or even 4chan) work. Again, I would recommend just thinking about things before you say them if that's an issue. It's a two way street as well, I'm sure that you think of other people the same way because of what they believe.
I'm getting real deep and philosophical here but that's just what I observe in day to day life, whether its here or anywhere.
There are ways to combat anxiety and a lot of them are pretty easy and don't require that you see a professional, although doing that can really help you too.

They did help and I'm glad I got on them but I didn't need them long term so I'm also glad I'm off them.
